At the Gen Art premiere of Elektra Luxx on Friday night, Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino took top red carpet honors, looking totally luxe in smashing fashion. Malin, who costars in the “porn-star-gets-pregnant” flick, rocked a navy blue, v-neck Miu Miu mini with jewel-embellished, pink heels, while Carla opted for a red hot, body-hugging red number, which showed off her pin-up girl curves, with glitter peep-toed heels, exposing her Minx pedicure. Both girls opted for darkly-lined, metallic eyes and red lips.

Cheers for Chris Brown? Yes, the Rihanna bashing pop star found himself back in the public spotlight last night at New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park - and received an unlikely rousing reception.

Always fashionable, Chris was dapper as he walked the runway in a tuxedo at the event to benefit CARE for Haiti, coordinated by supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Estelle, Kelly Osbourne, Karen Elson, Helena Christensen, Selita Ebanks, Malin Ackerman, Alan Cumming and Agyness Deyn also took to the runway.

"Events like this are definitely important, not necessarily for me," Brown said, back stage.

"t's very humbling and being able to come and help, it's nice to see."

While she has been happy to support husband Tom Cruise as he films in Boston, Katie Holmes will soon be bringing home the bacon as well. She will replace Liv Tyler in the upcoming comedy The Romantics.

She will also executive produce the film whose cast includes Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Ackerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong. It is slated to begin shooting in New York as early as this week.
