The fountain of youth was flowing at Coors Field, at least for a night.

At 49 years and 150 days old, Jamie Moyer became the oldest pitcher in the history of Major League Baseball to win a game, tossing seven innings for the Colorado Rockies to defeat the San Diego Padres 5-3 in Denver on Tuesday.

"To have your name mentioned with great players of the past or Hall of Fame players, it's pretty special," the journeyman soft-tosser said after notching the milestone, the 268th of his career.

Kidnapped Washington Nationals Star Wilson Ramos Rescued

Moyer did not play in the 2011 season after having an operation on his elbow.

The previous record-holder was Brooklyn Dodger Jack Quinn who was 49 years, 70 days old when setting the initial record in 1932.

Fun fact: Six of the nine Padres Moyer faced Tuesday had not yet been born when he made his major league debut June 16, 1986.

By Alexis Tereszcuk - Radar Senior Reporter

The owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers is going through a nasty divorce and a struggle to maintain control of his team, but in new court documents he is accused of “looting” the baseball giant of a whopping $189.16 million!

Major League Baseball put that exact number on the amount they allege Frank McCourt has been “siphoning” out of the team revenue to fund his lavish lifestyle, which includes eight homes.

"The Dodgers are in bankruptcy because McCourt has taken almost $190 million out of the club and has completely alienated the Dodgers' fan base," the documents filed on Tuesday by the MLB read.

UPDATE: Ramirez has now been released from jail after posting $2,500 bond.

A Florida judge told former baseball slugger Manny Ramirez he is to have no direct contact with his wife Juliana in a Tuesday morning hearing following his arrest Monday on domestic battery charge.

The judge set bail at $2,500 for Ramirez, 39, who was being held at Broward County Jail. Police said Ramirez had slapped his wife, who then careened onto a headboard of a bed in their home.

Four Major League Baseball investigators entered a Baltimore hotel Friday to meet with New York Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez over Star magazine's
exclusive report that he played in Tinsel town's top secret poker ring.

A-Rod is facing anything from a reprimand to a suspension from Major League Baseball, which previously warned him to stay out of illegal poker clubs.

ESPN NewYork.com reports Rodriguez' attorney, Jay Reisinger, will be present at the meeting.

Earlier this month, a blockbuster Star investigation uncovered the sordid charges being made by eyewitnesses who played in games with A-Rod, in the A-List ring.

A-Rod gambled on at least two occasions, in games organized by stunning brunette Molly Bloom, who coordinated the sophisticated poker operation, the insiders revealed.

SpiderMan star Tobey Maguire was also at the game, Star has learned. One game was hosted at investor and record label owner Cody Leibel's $16.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, where cocaine was openly used.

A Florida gathering also ended in controversy when one "dubious" card shark lost tens of thousands of dollars and called in several thugs in a bid to intimidate rival players and avoid paying his debt.

The Yankees open a five-game series with the Orioles Friday night.

More trouble for Major League Baseball!

More trouble for Major League Baseball!

Nearly a month after a man was brain damaged in an assault by opposing fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles , the father of 9-year-old twins is asking MLB to take action against Atlanta Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell.

PHOTOS: Celebrity Death Threats

Justin Quinn, 33, a environmental researcher from Fresno, Calif., claims McDowell came after him with a baseball bat before Altanta’s game at the San Francisco Giants April 23 -- because Quinn objected to McDowell calling fans watching batting practice “homos.”

McDowell didn’t take a swing and Quinn, who was at the game with twin girls Kylynn and Taylor, was not injured. But he swore out a police complaint and hired Los Angeles lawyer Gloria Allred to obtain at least an apology from McDowell and MLB. Legal action could come next.
