George Michael has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and possessing marijuana, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Father Figure singer, 47, enter the plea during an appearance at the Highbury Corner Magistrates Court in London on Tuesday.

Michael - whose real name is Georgios Panayiotou - has been banned from driving for six months, and will return next month for sentencing. At Tuesday's hearing, the judge told him this was "a serious matter", and that he could go to prison.
