Actress Lori Petty: No Contest In DUI Case

RadarOnline.com has learned that actress Lori Petty plead no contest to charges of driving under the influence and causing injury, stemming from a May arrest.

Petty was booked on May 30 on two misdemeanor counts, not only for driving intoxicated but for allegedly hitting a skateboarder in Venice Beach, Ca.

While Petty admits to causing bodily harm, charges of driving with an over-limit blood alcohol level and no proof of insurance (for which she was cited) were dismissed.

She'll pay almost $500 in fees and must complete two months of an alcohol treatment plan.

Petty is best known for her supporting role as Geena Davis' baseball playing sister in A League Of Their Own.

Lori Petty's superstar attorney Blair Berk quietly went into a Los Angeles court, and requested and was granted a month-long continuance on her client’s arraignment on misdemeanor DUI charges.  The A League of Their Own star-turned-artist is accused of “driving under the influence” when she struck a teenage boy on his skateboard May 31 in Venice Beach, CA.

Her arraignment is now set for July 28.

Actress Lori Petty Busted for DUI

RadarOnline.com has confirmed A League of Their Own star Lori Petty was busted Saturday night in Venice Beach, CA, for felony DUI.

The actress struck a 14-year-old boy on a skateboard with her car. Both Petty and the unidentified boy were given medical treatment and released on the scene. Petty was arrested and taken to Van Nuys Jail.

She was released at 6:48 a.m. Sunday morning on $100,000 bail.

Petty, last seen on Fox's Prisonbreak, is due in court June 25 for arraignment.
