On Eve Of Trial, Nicollette Sheridan Gets Surprise Support In Desperate Housewives Lawsuit

A former Desperate Housewives executive producer has come forward in support of Nicollette Sheridan in her lawsuit against the show’s creator Marc Cherry and the ABC network.

Lori Kirkland Baker, an Emmy-winning writer/producer, who was with the series from May 2007 to May 2009, says Sheridan’s version of events – not Cherry’s – is what really happened.

She’s given a sworn disposition, according to the Hollywood Reporter which broke the story.

Sheridan maintains she was fired from her $175,000 an episode gig as Edie Britt only after she and Cherry had an altercation on September 24, 2008 – Sheridan says Cherry slapped her – and she subsequently complained to ABC about her on-going treatment by him.
