Adam Case, Lindsay Lohan's pal while she was recently rehabbing at Palm Springs' Betty Ford clinic, defended the Mean Girls star when asked by a cameraman in Los Angeles recently about the skirmish between the actress and ex-Betty Ford employee Dawn Holland.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Riverside Country District Attorney is deciding whether to file charges against the troubled star, after Holland claimed Lohan was drinking before she threw a phone at her (Holland has since said she will not cooperate with any investigation; should Lohan be charged, it could interfere with her probation).

Lindsay Lohan is only two days out of rehab and already she’s causing a stir in the beachside community of Venice where she’s setting up her new home, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

Lohan’s swanky new pad is right next door to ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, who showed her distaste to the hoards of photographers on Monday, but she’s not the only one upset about the 24-year-old actresses move.

“We usually don’t do celeb stuff, but got a lot of emails on this one... so... Lindsay Lohan is moving to Venice?” a local neighborhood website wrote in an article titled “Paparazzi Infestation Coming To Venice?”

Lindsay Lohan could move into her posh new beach front home in Venice, California as early as Tuesday, which just happens to be right next door to her on-again/ off-again love Samantha Ronson, and RadarOnline.com has video and photos of the mad-dash to get the property ready for the troubled Mean Girls star.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lindsay, 24, was forced to stay in an upscale hotel in Los Angeles Monday night because her new pad wasn't quite ready yet.

Lindsay Lohan has been released from the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California  after a 90-day stint in rehab, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Mean Girls star, 24, served the rehab stint in connection with her 2007 DUI conviction, as her repeated failures to meet the terms of her probation caused her to serve two stints in rehab -- and two in jail -- last year.

Anticipating her release, Lohan Tweeted New Year's Day that "Today is the first day of the rest of my life. The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time..."

Lindsay Lohan was caught trying to escape the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, earlier this week, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

But all Lohan, 24, desperately wanted to score was a coke fix -- of the cola variety!

In a tale so bizarre it is almost unbelievable, RadarOnline.com has confirmed the Hollywood wild child attempted to flee the Betty Ford grounds to sneak into the nearby Eisenhower Medical Center, in a bid to buy a soda from a vending machine.

Lindsay Lohan won't attend Wednesday night's screening of her new movie Machete, her attorney tells RadarOnline.com.

“The screening is tonight and when I spoke with her last it was her intention not to do that", said Shawn Chapman Holley.

"She thought it was better for her to focus on moving forward and not necessarily going to something splashy.”

Lindsay Lohan might be getting sprung from rehab early but she had one important court matter to settle… a bad debt!

The troubled starlet was ordered to pay the court $262.00 by August 20, 2010 or else risk forfeiting the $200,000 bail bond posted when Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant for Lindsay’s arrest on June 8.  

The bond agency was required to pay the money by Friday.

But RadarOnline.com confirmed with the court that the bondsman was late and didn’t pay her bill until 3pm on Tuesday.

Lindsay will continue outpatient treatment at UCLA two to three times per week.

In a sudden and surprising decision, Lindsay will be released from her court-ordered drug and alcohol rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center early – and may be out as early as Tuesday, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Lohan had a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday but a plan was secretly formulated to release her Tuesday and avoid a media frenzy. It is possible her release could be delayed to Wednesday, but RadarOnline.com learned that everything is set for her release, including a three-car decoy to get her out of UCLA and away from the media.

Judge Elden Fox is overseeing her case.

RadarOnline.com has also learned exclusively that Lindsay will continue outpatient treatment at UCLA two to three times per week.

She is on day 22 of her 90-day treatment program. Her early release is an apparent and calculated move to avoid media attention.

RadarOnline.com also has learned that Lindsay is hoping to get permission to go to New York in early September.

The 24-year-old was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail, followed by a three-month stint in rehab for probation violations stemming from her 2007 DUI conviction.

Lindsay Lohan's attorney is heading to court this week in an attempt to spring the Mean Girls star from rehab.

Shawn Chapman Holley is hoping to get Lindsay released within 10 days, RadarOnline.com learned exclusively.

A probation modification hearing will be held in open court Wednesday in front of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox.
