Rapper Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge

Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to an attempted weapons possession charge in a New York courtroom Thursday, in connection with a 2007 incident in which officers found a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded gun in his tour bus in Manhattan.
The 27-year-old rapper, who expects to serve up to a year in jail, changed his original not guilty plea (which would have garnered him a three-and-a-half year sentence if convicted). His trial was slated to start Jan 20 before the plea was entered.

Things have been better for "Best I Ever Had" singer Drake.
The rising hip-hop artist, and occasional Rihanna companion, slipped and fell during a recent performance.
The footage shows a very energetic Drake, ramping up the crowd to sing to his current hit, running across stage and then wiping out.
The rapper went down flat and was retrieved seconds later by stagehands and carried off backstage. Luckily collaborator Lil Wayne was present to finish up the show.
Drake informed all that he's walking but will be having surgery sometime next week, via twitter.

Lil Wayne launched a lawsuit Wednesday against a movie production company that filmed a documentary about the self-described "one of the kings of hip hop." Ok, so his lawyers are kissing butt.
