Scott Caan is a real-life surfer dude. The Hawaii Five-0 star dropped into some bitchin waves on Oahu Saturday, and we couldn't help but take notice!

What James Caan's look-alike son lacks in height -- he's a compact 5'5" -- he makes up for in the beefcake department and his pro technique on his board.

Caan is also a generous surfer.  He is being honored next month by Life Rolls On part of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, for his "tremendous support" of a program to help victims of spinal cord injuries back into the surf.
