Tom Cruise dished on his memorable MTV Movie Awards appearance dancing with Jennifer Lopez as his Tropic Thunder alter-ego Les Grossman, in a joint interview on Good Morning America Tuesday with Cameron Diaz to promote their upcoming action-comedy, Knight And Day.
"How it came about was, [MTV] came to me and they wanted me to host the show, and I just didn't have time because we were working on the film, so I said, ‘How bout I do Les Grossman -- how bout Less Grossman produces the show for you?’" Cruise said via a satellite feed from in Austria, where the stars were promoting the film.

Leading man Tom Cruise has signed on to star in a new film where he will deliberately make himself look unattractive, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Cruise's character Les Grossman-a foul-mouthed movie producer in Tropic Thunder-is getting his own movie, Paramount and MTV Films announced on Wednesday.

Cruise brought back the wacky character at last Sunday's MTV Movie Awards to huge laughs. Cruise will produce the spin-off with Ben Stiller, who starred in the original film.

"Les Grossman's life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds," said Stiller in the announcement. "He has assured me he plans to quote, 'F**king kill the sh*t out of this movie and make Citizen f**king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.' I am honored to be working with him."

Tom Cruise recreates two of his most famous roles in a promo for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and RadarOnline.com has the video for you.
The Oscar-nominated actor donned a bald cap to reprise a character from Tropic Thunder and then stripped down to his tighty-whities to recreate a scene from Risky Business.
