2010 American Idol winner Lee DeWyze is engaged to his girlfriend of eight months, model/actress Jonna Walsh.
"I'm excited," says DeWyze, 25, told PEOPLE, which reported the Illinois native proposed July 16 over champagne on a private yacht at Disney World in Orlando.

American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox married fellow musician Brian Walker in Chicago on Sunday, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Bowersox and Walker wed in the same venue they met at an open mic night in 2004, the singer's rep told People. They had long been platonic friends before taking the relationship up a notch in the last few months.

Ohio native Crystal Bowersox found out her privacy was violated after state officials told the American Idol runner-up that more than six employees from varying police and court agencies had checked her confidential records as her star rose on the Fox hit last spring.

“You feel violated … but I guess it comes with the territory," Bowersox told her hometown newspaper, The Toledo Blade, on Wednesday.

The American Idols Live 2010 Tour hit Los Angeles Friday night with the Season 9 contestants performing a concert at the Staples Center. This was the last group to experience the wrath of Simon Cowell before his retirement, so RadarOnline.com asked them who they think should replaced the judge who became more famous than any of the Idol winners.
“It doesn’t matter who it’s going to be,” the American Idol winner Lee DeWyze told RadarOnline.com. “The show’s going to go on and be successful. I think they should just bring in people who aren’t trying to be the next Simon, Kara, Randy or Ellen.”

There were two votes for Harry Connick Jr. by Aaron Kelly and Katie Stevens, and she also liked the idea of Steven Tyler joining the show. Casey James told RadarOnline.com the next judge should be “Bret Michaels, because I like him.”

A relative of Tony Kusian has told RadarOnline.com that his family is ‘sad’ that he has split-up with American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox.
Bowersox dropped the bombshell on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show that she had called it quits with her boyfriend who had been with her in Los Angeles recently.
The talented performer told the Idol host that the decision was mutual and her boyfriend went home because he wasn't cool with "the lifestyle."

"He didn't think he was up for it," Bowersox told Seacrest of her boyfriend.
Bowersox claimed the breakup helped fuel the emotion in her standout performance of Up to the Mountain in the final against Idol winner Lee Dewyze.

Tony’s uncle Fred Kusian told RadarOnline: “It sad they were a sweet couple and I met Crystal a few times and everybody liked her.
“Tony is a pretty quiet person and he has a good job as an engineer here in Ohio, so, maybe he didn’t like the limelight that much.
“He really dotted on Crystal’s little boy Tony and they had been together for sometime which is a shame.
“I want what they want - whatever makes them happy - who knows what will happen because the path of true love never runs smoothly.”

Viewers of Idol this season regularly saw Kusian in the audience cheering-on his talented girlfriend who was the favorite to win this year’s competition.
Ironically, the biological father of her young son is also called Tony but he now lives overseas.

Paint store worker Lee DeWyze pulled off a stunning upset over Crystal Bowersox in winning American Idol’s ninth season Wednesday, and RadarOnline.com was front-and-center on a night that also included performances from Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood, and an emotional send-off to departing judge Simon Cowell.

Both DeWyze and Bowersox, among other contestants, performed alongside established stars on the program. The Illinois native DeWyze, 24, sang a medley of hits with the band Chicago, while Bowersox ripped off a powerful rendition of You Oughta Know alongside 90s sensation Alanis Morisette. Casey James, who finished third in the competition, was joined by ailing rocker Bret Michaels to perform the power ballad, Every Rose Has Its' Thorn.

In what many considered an upset, Lee DeWyze won the ninth season of American Idol on Wednesday night, beating out folk singer Crystal Bowersox in a night filled with star-studded performances and tearful goodbyes for departing judge Simon Cowell.
“This is amazing…I’ve never been happier in my life,” said a shocked DeWyze who was close to tears upon hearing the announcement. After all, it was a tight race leading up to the finals, with only two percent of America voting for DeWyze over Bowersox.

The Illinois native gave one of the most memorable performances of the season when he sang Hallelujah two weeks ago. But on Tuesday night, things seemed to fall apart. After his last Idol performance, the judges told DeWyze that he’d need to "punch harder" to beat out season-favorite, Bowersox.

Immediately after earning the Idol title, the crooner sang his first single, U2 ‘s Beautiful Day. But the night wasn’t just about who came out on top. It was also about the creator of the show that changed the face of American pop music.

Later, Janet Jackson (sporting a short, cropped do) hit the stage with force singing Nasty and her latest single Nothing, while Christina Aguilera belted out a new song from her forthcoming album. Other star-studded performances trickled in throughout the night from the likes of Dane Cook, Alanis Morrisette and Alice Cooper.

American Idol hopefuls Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze faced off in front of 7,000 people at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Tuesday night, and RadarOnline.com has the scoop for you on the show's ninth season finale.
RadarOnline.com's David Viggiano was front and center for the action, where Bowersox, a 24-year-old Ohio native, shined so bright that judge Kara DioGuardi declared her rendition of Patty Griffin's Up To The Mountain her "defining moment of the season.”
Simon Cowell agreed as well, saying, “That was by far the best performance and song of the night -- outstanding."
