It’s about an animal rescue specialist named Shelly who rehabilitates animals (and finds them homes) that wouldn’t make it otherwise. Tonight she works with a litter of puppies suffering from skin disease.

Tonight’s featured fugitive is Mario Pena of Lathrop, CA who escaped prison in 2008 while on trial for killing his girlfriend’s baby.

Some of the stars featured include Soprano’s star Michael Imperioli talking about his weird experience in a NYC hotel, Donna D’Errico revealing that she befriended a spirit as a little girl and Corey Feldman explaining how a ghost affected his life in a positive way.

Ladies, take note if you’re home tonight and watching TV with the man in your life, Spike is airing The Hooters 2010 International Swimsuit Pageant. Oh yes, Hooters’ girls from all around the world put on their hottest swim wear to compete for the 2010 title!

CBS premieres a new crime series called The Bridge. It stars Aaron Douglas, a cop so fed up with police corruption that the show begins with him leading a walk-out!

Oscar award winning director Mike Nichols who helmed such beloved films like The Graduate receives the 38th American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement award tonight on TV Land. The ceremony, previously taped in LA, features Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks and more!

And Discovery airs back-to-back episodes of their fascinating series I (Almost) Got Away With It. It tells the stories of fugitives and their experiences on the lam. Tales told tonight include a convicted contract killer who escaped after almost 19 years, a suspected killer who erased his fingerprints with acid and a man who fled to Mexico after shooting his wife!
