Bill Maher was a guest on The David Letterman Show Tuesday night, and he told the late night talk show host that his longtime sparring partner, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, has "some bug up her ass," RadarOnline.com is reporting.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Maher had appeared on The View earlier in the day, when the former Survivor cast member blasted the HBO star for comments he made on his late night talk show in February while speaking about the sexual assault of CBS correspondent, Lara Logan.

There's no love lost between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Bill Maher, and the warring TV hosts exchanged angry words yet again on Tuesday in a bitter on-air standoff during The View, and RadarOnline.com has the explosive clip.

The animosity between the pair began when Maher aimed a jab at Hasselbeck on his HBO show last February while speaking about the sexual assault of CBS correspondent, Lara Logan.

"New rule: now that Hosni Mubarak has released Lara Logan, he must put her intrepid hotness on a plane immediately. In exchange, we will send Elisabeth Hasselbeck," he joked.

Journalist Lara Logan broke her silence on Sunday’s 60 Minutes, about the brutal sexual assault she suffered three months ago while covering the resignation of Egypt’s then-president, Hosni Mubarak.

"I thought, ‘Not only am I going to die here, but it's going to be just a torturous death that's going to go on forever and ever and ever,’" the CBS News' chief foreign affairs correspondent told 60 Minutes on Sunday in her first on-camera discussion of the incident.

TV Reporter Lara Logan Recovering At Home After Brutal Sexual Assault

CBS News' chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan has returned home, where she’s recovering after suffering a beating and sexual assault last week while covering the protests in Egypt, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Last Friday, after Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak finally left his post after nearly three weeks of riots, Logan and her crew "were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration" in Cairo's Tahrir Square, CBS said. The network added there were as many as 200 onlookers "whipped into a frenzy" by the day's events.

Friday night, The HBO comedian referenced CBS foreign correspondent Lara Logan being detained in Cairo and said “Now that President Mubarak has released Lara Logan he must put her intrepid hotness on a plane back to the United States immediately. In exchange we will send Elisabeth Hasselbeck.”

Responding on The View Monday, Hasselbeck said: “It is unfair, it is chauvinistic.. I find it disturbing and also amusing that I happen to be on your mind.”
