The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim Granatell is set to compete in the 2011 Mrs. New Jersey United States pageant, her friend Tom Murro tells  RadarOnline.com exclusively.

The 45-year-old reality star and Murro were both on tap to be judges for the upcoming pageant but were bounced after they were photographed at an event with some of the contestants.  "We were told it would be a conflict of interest to have us as judges," Murro tells us.

Wanting to still have Kim involved, the organizers then gave permission for her to enter as a contestant, Murro says.  He was then hired to emcee for the event.

Kim is taking the beauty pageant seriously, Murro says.  "She has been working on her catwalk and getting tan in preparation for the event," Murro says.

No one from the Mrs. New Jersey organization responded to RadarOnline.com's request for comment on their decision.

The competition takes place May 21 with the winner going on to the Mrs. America pageant.

Kate and Michael have had a volatile relationship, to say the least, but, Kate alleges things turned really nasty yesterday after she refused to partake in a therapy session with Lohan at the Pasadena Therapy Center.

Teresa Giudice is having more than just financial problems. Her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga has been asked to join the Real Housewives of New Jersey next season and Teresa is irate, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

“When Teresa got word that her sister-in-law was asked to be part of the show she said, ‘If she’s going to be on the show, then I’m not going to do it,” a family source told RadarOnline.com.

While not every new or returning member has signed on, camera crews are already following around the new addition.

If Caroline, Jacqueline, and Teresa return to the show for another season, they will be sharing the small screen with Melissa Gorga, who happens to be Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law! A Giudice family friend told RadarOnline.com, “She [Melissa] is not replacing her [Teresa]. I think Melissa is actually Dina’s replacement.”

The auction of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s belongings has one confirmed buyer, and she has major plans for the items.

Kim Granatell, her frenemy on the show, told RadarOnline.com that she thinks Teresa’s household items aren’t worthy of an estate sale. “Her things should be for sale on a folding table on Mulberry Street.”

However Kim told RadarOnline.com she was going to the auction and was bringing her checkbook. “I’m going to buy everything and re-sell it on eBay,” she said. Kim plans to donate everything to the Emmanuel Cancer charity.

The auction was originally slated to take place on August 22 but has been postponed until October 3. Kim and her partner in crime Tom Muro plan to be present at the auction and clean house. Literally.

The same company that organized the auction of Grammy-award winning singer Whitney Houston’s sale in 2007 exclusively told RadarOnline.com that they expect Teresa Giudice’s auction to be more popular. Houston’s auction was in an old warehouse in New Jersey, but this one promises to be a higher level event.

“This one is a beautiful home in New Jersey on a Sunday. So, I think more people will show up.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Bravo on Mondays at 10 pm.
