Eli Manning Scores Big On Saturday Night Live

If Eli Manning has as good a season with the New York Giants that he had as host of Saturday Night Live, his team is headed to the Super Bowl.
The superstar quarterback was amazingly good in sketch after sketch, straight through from the monologue.
One of our favorites had Peyton Manning's little brother -- there was an entire sketch about the plight of younger siblings -- as Miss Chicken Fried Steak in a Miss Drag World competition.

Eli didn't take kindly to finishing third out of three competitors, even when the pageant host, played by SNL's fabulous Kenan Thompson, encouraged him to "have some dignity."
Miss Chicken Fried Steaks was in mascara-blurring tears but it will leave you laughing.

Lindsay Lohan's guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live was almost criminally bad.
Entertainment Weekly is already suggesting she was the "worst host" of the year, and the reasons were obvious.

Lindsay could be seen reading cue cards in almost every skit! Most of the comedy revolved around the Mean Girls star's well-known legal problems, but even with that, she was rarely more than a background player in any of the bits. The talented SNL regulars carried the heavy weight.
In one skit, Lohan played a reformed con who, along with show regular Kenan Thompson, conducted a "scared straight" intervention with a bunch of teens. It should have been a natural for Lohan, but what can we say....

Kudos to Twilight's Taylor Lautner.
The 17-year-old New Moon hunk did a nice job hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend and even poked fun at his relationship with a certain country cutie during his opening monologue.
During his opening bit, Lautner playfully admitted to being "friends with benefits" -- not with Taylor Swift -- but Reba McEntire! (played by the always funny Kenan Thompson).
Lautner went on to show off his impressive martial arts skills as he attacked a life size cut-out of Kanye West, who famously grabbed the trophy for Best Female Video from Lautner's rumored girlfriend at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards last September.

In another skit, Lautner, donning a bad wig and wearing a pink shirt that read 'Team Edward', played Mariana, a girl who was at odds with her friend who sported a 'Team Jacob' shirt.
Clutching a notebook with Robert Pattinson's picture on it, Mariana (aka Lautner) remarked, "If those abs are real then the dude who plays Jacob deserves an Oscar."
