Lindsay Lohan is still under investigation for a felony, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday, adding that the $2,500 necklace at the center of the criminal investigation was returned by an associate of Lindsay’s right after RadarOnline.com broke the story about the probe.
“The crime we’re talking about is a theft. It’s a grand theft because the item in question is valued at over $900 making it a felony crime,” Lieutenant Jeff Bert, the Commanding Officer of Pacific Detective Division said in video obtained by RadarOnline.com.

“At about 8:30 last night I think Radar Online indicated they had a breaking story and very shortly after that the PD was notified by a representative saying the necklace would be returned and it was and I verified the necklace myself,” Lieutenant Bert said.
