‘G.I. Joe’ Wins Box Office War

The critics may not have been on board for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra but movie fans certainly were.  The Channing Tatum flick is set to bring in an estimated $56.2 million at the North American box office this weekend. Worldwide, the take will be just over $100 million.

Meryl Streep and Amy Adams cooked up a winner in Julie & Julia.  The Nora Ephron-written and directed comedy is expected to do $20.1 million in ticket sales for the three days.

24 Star Mary Lynn Rajskub’s Vegas Wedding

24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub married personal trainer Matthew Rolph August 1 in Las Vegas, her rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com. The couple’s year-old son Valentine walked his mom down the aisle to the tune of Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation.

Mary Lynn wore Nicole Miller and the groom was in Hugo Boss for the low key affair attended by 20 family and friends at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.  They dined and partied at Koi Las Vegas after the brief ceremony.

Rajskub costars in the new film Julie & Julia and is working on the eighth season of 24.
