Attorneys for Michael Jackson’s Estate appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday morning in an effort to evict Alejandra Jackson and her four children, but RadarOnline.com has learned she refused to leave the compound and the case has been set for trial.
Alejandra is Katherine Jackson’s former daughter-in-law and has children with both Jermaine Jackson and Randy Jackson.

Former Survivor Producer Bruce Beresford-Redman will be called as a witness in the court case to determine who should have custody over his kids, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff set a trial date of November 8, 2010 to determine who will gain permanent guardianship of Bruce and Monica Beresford-Redman.
Monica was murdered in April in Cancun, Mexico and there’s a warrant for Bruce’s arrest. But Bruce is now back in the U.S. and Mexican authorities have yet to detain him.

Bruce’s parents—David and Juanita—currently have temporary custody over the children 3-year-old Alec and 5-year-old Camila. They are locked in a bitter custody battle with Monica’s sisters.

Neither Bruce nor his parents were in court. And Jeanne Burgos was Monica’s only family member in court Thursday morning.
Lawyers for both sides said they planned to call Bruce as a witness at the trial, and that his deposition also be taken.
Other depositions taken will include various family members and all surviving grandparents.

The Burgos family attorney also requested overnight visits with the children, but the judge asked the parties to come to an agreement out of court. The Burgos sisters wanted more time with Alec and Camila because of summer break.

Jeanne Burgos told RadarOnline.com exclusively, "I'm very disappointed that the judge didn't grant it."

The Burgos family also wants to bring in a different therapist for the kids, but before making a decision the judge wants more information about Dr. Charlie Sophy, head of the Los Angeles County Dept of Children and Family Services.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff extended temorary guardianship of Bruce and Monica Beresford-Redman's two children to Bruce's parents on Thursday.

The temporary guardianship will stay in place until the next court hearing of June 17th.

Carla and Jeane Burgos, Monica's two sisters, were also in court trying to gain guardianship.

Beckloff denied that motion but did allow the two sisters to have visitation on Sundays, and Tuesdays from the time school ends until around dinner time.

The sisters had requested visitation for the entire weekend, but Beckloff denied that request as well.

Beckloff also ordered that neither party can remove either of the children from the seven Southern California counties.
Bruce remains in Mexico, and still hasn't been charged with a crime.

In what is sure to be the first of many future challenges, Charlaine Buie, a woman claiming that she had a relationship with Michael Jackson, appeared in court Tuesday to contest Michael Jackson’s will.

Katherine Jackson will be allowed to contest the executors of Michael Jackson's estate, if she so chooses.

In a ruling handed down today Judge Mitchell Beckloff decided that if Katherine wishes to challenge decisions made by the will executors, John Branca and John McClain, she can safely do so without jeopardizing her 40% stake in Jackson’s estate.
