Judge Judy has confirmed she is returning to the bench and will pick up her gavel again next week, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

"She is feeling better and will be returning to work in Los Angeles to shoot new cases on April 12 and 13," a production insider told RadarOnline.com.

The TV judge was released from a Los Angeles-area hospital last Thursday after an overnight stay following a health scare.

Judge Judy Sheindlin's trip to the ER on Wednesday is related to oral surgery she underwent the day before, a source exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.

"She had oral surgery late Tuesday and didn't eat all day before the procedure and she had to take pain medication," the show insider said.

"She was told to take the day off but she said 'No, No I'll work.'"

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Judge Judy was rushed to Cedar Sinai hospital after she suddenly started saying things that didn't make sense, during the taping of her hit courtroom show.

"She was just sitting on the stand during her show taping and she started saying things that didn't make any sense," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com, exclusively.

"She said, 'I need to stop, I'm not feeling well."

She was only two cases deep into her taping when her bizarre behavior prompted her to stop filming and have a crew member call 911.

The 68-year-old judge is known for her work ethic and is one of the highest-paid women in television.

"She is such a hard worker, she doesn't like to miss a day," the source said. "The hospital is being really careful and have decided to keep her for observation"

Judge Sheindlin was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday morning after she suddenly started saying things that didn't make sense, a studio insider revealed.

"She was just sitting on the stand during her show taping and she started saying things that didn't make any sense," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com, exclusively.

"She said, 'I need to stop, I'm not feeling well.'"

The source told RadarOnline.com that the 68-year-old judge was only two cases deep into her taping when her bizarre behavior prompted her to stop and have a crew member call 911.

"She said couple of sentences that didn't have anything to do with the case and then she stopped speaking and said she wasn't feeling well," the source said.

"The stage manager called the paramedics and they came and took her away."

The Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed to RadarOnline.com that a paramedic ambulance was dispatched to the KTLA Studios in Hollywood, where Judge Judy tapes her show, at 9:12 a.m. today.

Sheindlin's rep, Gary Rosen, confirmed to RadarOnline.com that the judge is in the hospital and will be staying overnight for observation.
"The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out," Rosen said.

"They are keeping her overnight for tests."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed that a paramedic ambulance was dispatched to the KTLA Studios in Hollywood, where Judge Judy tapes her show, at 9:12 a.m. today.

The 68-year-old judge was transported to a local hospital by paramedics where she will remain overnight for observation.
