Fantasia Barrino has admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The American Idol winner made the sensational confession in a North Carolina court on Monday during Cook’s divorce proceeding with his ex-wife Paula.

Facing questions before a Mecklenburg County Court judge, the famous singer, 26, was pressed on whether she knew Cook was living with Paula when they embarked on their illicit affair.

The Idol season three winner has acknowledged she dated Cook “off and on for about 11 months” but said she believed he had separated from his wife.

In court, lawyers for the scorned wife pressed Fantasia about a hotel rendezvous that took place just a few days after meeting one another.

“Paula’s lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married,” one onlooker – who was inside the court – told RadarOnline.com.

There were no reporters in the courtroom and witnesses were asked to leave as Fantasia took the stand.

But multiple sources, including a Cook family source, confirmed Fantasia's explosive testimony to RadarOnline.com.

Fantasia became the center of a celebrity cheating scandal when she famously got the name “Cook” tattooed on her collarbone in honor of Antwaun.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Fantasia – who is still dating Antwaun – attempted to kill herself in August by taking an overdose of aspirin after reading a court complaint filed by Paula naming her as a home wrecker.

“It just became heavy for me, so I just wanted to be away from the noise,” Fantasia said in a television interview.

Paula is now considering suing Fantasia over the unique Alienation of Affection law.

Alienation of Affection is a law still recognized by only seven states – one of which is North Carolina – where an abandoned spouse can file lawsuit against the party responsible for the failure of their marriage, typically the adulterous spouse's lover.

Fantasia and Paula recently failed to settle their differences through private mediation after a marathon 12-hour session on November 1.

“Paula is not doing too well, having to hear all this in court and replay it all over, she’s emotionally torn,” one source close to the woman told RadarOnline.com.

Fantasia Barrino and her married lover Antwaun Cook are planning to move in together – despite the fact that her family does not approve.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “Fantasia and Antwaun are going to move-in together despite the fact that his divorce has not been finalized. They are talking about getting married and have been approached to do a new reality show about their relationship together.”

Chivalry isn’t dead just yet.  Antwaun Cook, who RadarOnline.com recently reported had reunited with Fantasia Barrino as she recovers from her suicide attempt, is speaking out to defend the American Idol winner from his wife’s allegations that she broke up their marriage.

"Antwaun would be remiss not to address the criticism and judgment he has received," Cook's lawyer, Nicole Sodoma, said Wednesday in a statement to People.

"He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage can in no way be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union – Paula and Antwaun."

Paula, who has two kids with Antwaun, recently filed a complaint against Fantasia whom she claimed knowingly had an affair with Antwaun despite his married status.

"[Paula and Antwaun] expected their marriage to stand the test of time," Sodoma continued. "Unfortunately, like many marriages, it did not turn out as planned. In late summer 2009, after years of discussion, the parties separated with the intention of no longer being married."

But 24 hours after she was released from hospital, she was photographed having a heart-to-heart with him while the cameras rolled for her VH1 reality show Fantasia For Real.

Fantasia Barrino may have re-united with her married lover Antwaun Cook but one man who’s certainly NOT HAPPY about their re-union is her father Joseph Barrino, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The American Idol winner - who reportedly attempted to kill herself after Cook called-off their relationship - was photographed with HIM as she shot some scenes for her VH1 reality show Fantasia For Real.

But her deeply religious father Joseph Barrino says he was not a happy man when we revealed to him that the shoot had taken place less than 24 hours after his daughter was released from the hospital.

He tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, “I do not think that can be real, it must be somebody else. I’m very displeased with that relationship because he is a married man and all of that has been discussed with Fantasia.”

And when RadarOnline.com told Fantasia’s dad that the meeting appeared to take place while shooting scenes for her new reality show, he says, “I do not think she would be back filming already.”

While her father seems to be in the dark about his famous daughter, the photographs clearly show the performer having heart-to-heart talks with her married lover.

Joseph Barrino told RadarOnline.com on Thursday: “Zion was staying with both myself and her grandmother but she is back with Fantasia now.

“She is getting a lot of comfort with being with her daughter and the doctors have told her just to rest.

“My daughter just needs time – she is a strong girl and with God’s help she will be okay.”

Joseph also revealed that Fantasia is back staying at her own home and has been receiving support from family and friends.

He added: “Fantasia was pleased with all the messages of support from her fans but just now she just needs to rest and bring everything back together.

“This has been a difficult time but she will pull through.”

A North Carolina police report revealed that Barrino attempted to commit suicide and suffered “possible internal injuries” after “ingesting medication” at her home in Glynwoor Lakes on Monday night.

Police sources and sources close to the investigation say Barrino was found in a closet and was taken to Mercy South Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville.

The police report was classified as “801- suicide”

Brian Dickens, who is Barrino's manager, notified CMPD that something was wrong with her, the police report stated.
