Casey Anthony is one of the most polarizing characters in recent American history with her acquittal last year over the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee, and now the dramatic story is being portrayed in the new Lifetime movie, Imperfect Justice.

The relatively unknown actress Holly Deveaux will play the 'Tot Mom' and star alongside Rob Lowe who will play the prosecuting attorney Jeff Ashton and Elizabeth Mitchell, who will portray fellow prosecutor Linda Drake Burdick.

Casey Anthony's famed attorney Jose Baez will be played by actor Oscar Nunez from The Office in the Lifetime movie Prosecuting Casey Anthony, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"He did a fantastic audition that was so persuasive dramatically," the movie's writer Alison Cross said on Sunday.

She said she was "wowed" by Oscar's "range and ability to channel Jose."

Casey Anthony’s bizarre video that she released on Thursday, where she rambles about her post-jail life for four minutes but never once mentions her daughter Caylee, has elicited a concerned response from her estranged parents.

They released a statement through their lawyer Mark Lippman in which they didn’t mention Caylee either. 

“Cindy and George were made aware of the video diary of their daughter this morning, January 5th 2012. They are concerned that the release of this video or any future videos could endanger their daughter. Cindy and George hope that Casey remains safe wherever she may be,” the statement says.

Cindy Anthony will never believe Casey is guilty of the murder of her young daughter Caylee Anthony, even if she confesses to the crime — according to the prosecutor on the case, Jeff Ashton.

During an interview Tuesday,  which aired live on RadarOnline.com, Ashton answered a slew of questions about the notorious trial, which ended in July with a stunning verdict of not guilty.

When asked what the number one thing he wished the jury could of heard, Ashton stated that he would of liked to have been able to present “evidence of the more realistic relationship between Cindy and Casey.”

Prosecutor Jeff Ashton had his work cut out for him during the sensational Casey Anthony trial and on Tuesday he’s going to field questions, discuss the trial and talk about his new tell-all book, and only RadarOnline.com will exclusively have the live feed.

“I look forward to the opportunity to share the story of the three years we spent prosecuting the person responsible for the death of Caylee Anthony,” Jeff said about his book, Imperfect Justice.

“I will explore my take on what the public already knew and reveal what they didn’t.”

Casey Anthony may not have cashed in on her infamy yet, but another one of the key players in her murder trial may be getting his own lucrative deal.

Dominic Casey, the private investigator hired by the Casey Anthony and George and Cindy Anthony to investigate the circumstances surrounding Caylee’s disappearance, may be in the process of writing an explosive book about the case, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

“I’ve been contacted by several publishers,” Dominic confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

Jeff Ashton, who unsuccessfully prosecuted Casey Anthony for the murder of her daughter Caylee, has written a book about the trial.

Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony will go on sale in November.

Ashton, who retired from his position the day after Casey was acquitted, will be hitting the talk show circuit to promote his book.

Casey Anthony will be a free woman in six days.

The announcement was made on Thursday, just hours after Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to the maximum of four years in prison and $4,000 in fines following her conviction on four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to police.

She didn’t exactly have the courtroom couture of Lindsay Lohan, but Casey Anthony looked noticeably differently during her sentencing Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

For the first time, Casey wore her long dark hair down, and not in a ponytail or bun.  She also wore a light blue V-neck sweater. During the trial, the defense specifically choose the conservative outfits she wore each day, no doubt, to create a more favorable impression with the jury, especially in light of the fact that Casey was photographed partying while her 2-year-old daughter Caylee was missing.
