Petra Ecclestone's mother Slavica says the $18.75 million bill for Petra’s wedding to English jetsetter James Stunt at Rome's Odescalchi Castle this past August was "worth every penny, because it made my daughter happy.

"I don't care how much the wedding cost, as it was a once-in-a-lifetime occasion ... who cares about money?" said Slavica, the ex-wife of Formula One head Bernie Ecclestone, whose net worth Forbes last year estimated as $4 billion.

Petra Ecclestone’s wedding night didn’t exactly go “as planned.”

The stunning 22-year-old heiress and her new husband James Stunt's married life didn't get off to the ideal start, after the groom’s best man drunkenly appeared in their hotel room and got into bed with them!

She said: "The wedding night didn’t exactly go as planned. We were in bed when we heard this moaning from the corridor; it was our drunken best man, who ended up getting into bed with us for an hour and a half. There I was thinking, 'I’m pretty sure this is not how things are supposed to happen.’ ”

Taking Los Angeles by storm, British socialites Petra and Tamara Ecclestone stepped out Friday night and headed to celebrity favorite Boa Steakhouse for a double date.

The 22-year-old Petra and her husband of one week, businessman James Stunt, were met at the restaurant by Tamara, 27 and her boyfriend Omar Khyami.

Petra, who married James in a lavish $6.5 million ceremony last weekend -- attended by sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton, by the way --  put her bridal body on display in a form fitting animal print mini-dress covered with a chic cropped leather jacket.

Meanwhile brunette beauty Tamara, who is rumored to be getting her own reality show, showed off her model physique in a daring green Herve Leger bandage dress which she paired with Christian Louboutin stilettos.

Earlier in the day the women, whose father is billionaire Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, did what any good heiress should do -- shopped!  They each hit up several boutiques along famed Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Newlywed Petra also took delivery of a surprise wedding gift from her new husband. She received a brand new white Rolls Royce Phantom, worth around $250,000, that was delivered to her hotel Friday morning, complete with a bow on top.

Petra and James are currently staying at the exclusive Beverly Hills Hotel while the $85 million mansion she bought recently from Candy Spelling is refurbished.

Petra Ecclestone's $6.5 million wedding to the man of her dreams landed her the title of the richest bride in the world.

And now as she prepares to move to Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com is revealing what married life in Tinsletown will hold for the British socialite and her new husband, James Stunt.

The couple's marital home is a far cry from most newlywed starter houses.  The brides's billionaire father, Formula 1 head Bernie Ecclestone has already treated his little girl to one of America's most expensive piece of real estate.

Robin Thicke and Earth, Wind and Fire are nothing to sneeze at but when billionaire heiress Petra Ecclestone married on Saturday, she had opera superstar Andrea Bocelli serenading the guests before the sunset ceremony, rock icon Eric Clapton playing the newlywed's first dance and none other than The Black Eyed Peas as the dance band!

Now that's a wedding!

Petra's walk-down-the-aisle with James Stunt is estimated to have cost $6.5 million, and there wasn't a cable network paying the tab. Of course that's small potatoes for the 22-year-old who recently paid $85 million for Candy Spelling's Los Angeles estate.

There were no signs of wedding day nerves for the daughter of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone as she arrived at her over-the-top nuptials in the back of a Rolls Royce looking calm and collected.

No expense was spared for the magical event at a castle in the Italian town of Bracciano -- the same one where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wed in 2006 --  with guests sipping on $6,000 a bottle wine and Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne while watching acrobats and fireworks.

The bride's custom-made Vera Wang dress reportedly cost in the region of $120,000.

Paris, Nicky and Kathy Hilton, David Arquette, and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were among the 250 VIP guests.

Her sister, Tamara, was Petra's maid of honor.

Petra and her new husband will be spending much of their time in Los Angeles, after her massive renovations on the Spelling mansion are complete.
