The sudden death of Mary Kennedy Wednesday has added to the long list of tragedies that has plagued the famous family for generations.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, the estranged wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was found at her Mount Kisco, New York home.

RFK Jr., 58, is the son of former Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, and the couple had filed for divorce in May 2010 after 16 years of marriage and four children.

While celebrities have years of experience picking out gowns suited for the red carpet, when it comes time to walk down the aisle, the pressure is on!

What happens when a box office veteran falls in love with a gorgeous actress years his junior?  One of the biggest weddings of the decade!  After a whirlwind romance, engagement and pregnancy, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes waited 19 months before they made it official at their swanky Italian nuptials at Odescalchi Castle.  It wasn’t surprising that Holmes turned to Tom’s old pal Giorgio Armani to design her a princess-worthy wedding gown, which was embellished in Swarovski crystals.

Kate Middleton may be sporting Princess Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring on her left hand, but it is doubtful she will borrow the former Princess’ wedding gown.  Though Lady Diana Spencer definitely had the most talked about gown of the 1980’s, trading vows with Prince Charles in an enormous pouf-sleeved stunner, which was embellished with about 10,000 pearls, the dress does not seem to mesh with Kate’s far less formal fashion identity.
