EXCLUSIVE: J-Lo's Ex Husband To File For Bankruptcy, Try Again To Release Home Videos
Posted on Apr 21, 2010 @ 11:07AM - 11 comments

In a new gambit in his ongoing legal action against ex wife Jennifer Lopez, Ojani Noa now says he's "depressed" over JLo poking fun at their marriage and he's going to file for bankruptcy.
Ed Meyer, Noa's business partner, told RadarOnline.com that Noah has "grown depressed over Jennifer Lopez's poking fun at marriage (including their previous marriage) to promote her new movie The Back-up Plan. Ojani feels he has suffered (and is still suffering) 'spousal abuse' from JLo."
Noa and Meyer have been in a long-running legal battle with Lopez as they seek to release hours of home video that some have described as "racy," although it is clear there is no footage of a sex tape.

Court rulings have prevented Noa from releasing or selling the tapes but JLo has also been unable to free herself from the tangle of litigation.
Now Meyer tells RadarOlnline.com that Noah is going to file for bankruptcy and when he does the home video will go up for public auction.

Meyer, never known for understatement, claims: "Ojani can't work." He blames Jlo and her lawyers, alleging they have stopped employment opportunities and claims Ojani is "practically out on the street."
It should be noted the Noa has previously entered into legal agreements with JLo.

Meyer tells us that Ojani is planning to file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy so that Noa can "force the federal bankruptcy trustee to sell his share of the Jennifer Lopez 'racy' home videos, plus hundreds and hundreds of unseen and 'racy' candid still photos of JLo, and Ojani's tell-all book manuscript about JLo at a public bankruptcy auction, to the highest bidder."
JLo’s attorney did not respond to a request for comment.

Meyer says, "This will move Jennifer Lopez's $10 million lawsuit against Ojani out of the California Court of Appeal (2nd District), and up to the Federal Bankruptcy Court, where the case will be fast tracked, and Ojani can force Jennifer Lopez onto the witness stand in open court within 60 days."
