Lady Gaga’s scheduled concert in Indonesia next month has been canceled after police refused to grant the Born This Way singer a permit to perform amid security concerns.

Three Islamic groups expressed strong opposition to the singer’s concert set for June 3 in Indonesia’s capital of Jakarta. The groups demanded it be stopped, citing what they called her “vulgar” style.

"She's a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching,"  Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI) said Tuesday. "This is dangerous."

More than 30,000 concert tickets from a total of 40,000 tickets had already been sold for the event.

Indonesia, a secular state, has the world's largest population of Muslims as well as significant numbers of Christians, Buddhists and Hindus.

By Debbie Emery - Radar Reporter

Lowes has caused outrage among both celebrities and racial awareness groups after the superstore pulled their advertisements from the TLC reality show All-American Muslim.

The home improvement chain reportedly gave in to pressure from a right-wing family group who slammed the show for being a danger to American liberties and traditional values, and the move has now been criticized by CAIR (Council On American-Islamic Relations) for giving in to anti-Islamic bigots, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

"It's very troubling and disappointing on our end that Lowes, which claims to a be a corporation that promotes diversity, would allow itself to be tactically used by bigots," Dawud Walid, Executive Director of Michigan Chapter of CAIR told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

Prince gave a surprisingly frank and extensive interview where he spoke about a wide range of topics, including his thoughts on Islamic countries and their strict laws.

“It’s fun being in Islamic countries, to know there’s only one religion,” the elusive singer told The Guardian. “There’s order. You wear a burqa. There’s no choice. People are happy with that.”

He was questioned by the interviewer about women who are unhappy having to wear burqas. “There are people who are unhappy with everything,” he said shrugging. “There’s a dark side to everything.”

After trying to clarify his thought process, Prince finally gave up.  “I don’t want to get up on a soapbox,” he relented. “My view of the world, you can debate that for ever. But I’m a musician. That’s what I do. And I also am music. Come to the show for that.”

Even though he’s been touring, Prince said that he doesn’t want to release a new album, even though he’s written lots of songs.

“The industry changed," he said. "We made money [online] before piracy was real crazy. Nobody's making money now except phone companies, Apple and Google. I'm supposed to go to the White House to talk about copyright protection. It's like the gold rush out there. Or a carjacking. There's no boundaries. I've been in meetings and they'll tell you, Prince, you don't understand, it's dog-eat-dog out there. So I'll just hold off on recording."
