A special preview for the highly-anticipated Iron Man sequel was shown for the first time at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend.
The sequel, directed by Jon Favreau, stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Mickey Rourke in the second installment of the series.

Scarlett Johannson is mighty secure within herself, especially for such a prominent actress.
The star laughingly cleared up rumors about on-set feuds and competitiveness at home during an Iron Man 2 panel at this weekend's Comic-Con.

Robert Downey Jr. was in his element on Friday as he took the stage at Comic-Con to promote his new Sherlock Holmes film. Looking dapper in a suit and zany, graphic tie, the actor happily took the mike and fielded questions as co-star Rachel McAdams looked on.

One cast mate not there was Jude Law who recently got blasted for allegedly hitting a female photographer. The actor claimed he was blinded by the flashing lights and was simply trying to shield himself when he accidentally knocked into someone with his arm.
Downey Jr. has a busy week ahead: he is also in town to stump for that other film he is in. Ever head of it? Just a little sequel called Iron Man 2!

New images from the highly-anticipated Iron Man sequel have hit the web.

The Jon Favreau-directed comic adaptation stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Don Cheadle as Col. James Rhodes, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.
The film hits theatres May 7, 2010.
The first Iron Man grossed $582 million dollars worldwide.

Gwyneth Paltrow, appearing on the Tonight Show Thursday night to promote her Web site, Goop.com, showed Conan O'Brien a few exercises to help his self-described body issue of having "no butt."
The Iron Man 2 starlet assisted the new Tonight Show host in an exercise in which he stepped on and off a chair, presumable to build up those glutes. We'll see if Conan heeded the A-lister's advice as we check out his rear end while we compare him to Jay and Johnny over the next few months.

Actor Robert Downey Jr. trains with a coach on the set of Iron Man 2 in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The actor was sporting a pretty serious black eye on his left side, just weeks into shooting the sequel.
The big question is: Did he injure himself while training, or is it merely makeup for his character Tony Stark?

As the Iron Man 2 cast and crew put in long hours getting the blockbuster sequel shot, director Jon Favreau shared to his Twitter readers what happened on Wednesday when sultry Scarlett Johansson stepped on to the set for the first time in costume for her character Black Widow.
“Scarlett’s first day on set in the Black Widow outfit,” Favreau wrote. “ You’ve never heard a crew get so quiet so fast.”

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait for “Iron Man 2," the sequel to the 08 blockbuster about the comic’s character that made Downey a Superhero.
Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as a billionaire genius in a high-tech metal suit that's loaded with gadgets with returning co-star Gwyneth Paltrow and in a wry casting move, Mickey Rourke is signed on to play a villain.
Jon Favreau is back directing again but you’ll have to wait until May 7, 2010 to see your favorite Superhero fighting the bad guys.
