Cat Cora is perhaps best known as the first female chef on “Iron Chef” but has also established herself as an accomplished cooking host, a cookbook author and as Executive Chef for Bon Appétit magazine.
We’re not a chef – or even much of a cook – but we love cookbooks so we took it home this weekend to try a recipe. Cat takes classics and gives it a twist, meaning faster to make, lighter and adding fresher ingredients to transform the humdrum into the sometimes spectacular.

Dancing With The Stars fans will have to do without their weekly dose of Lacey Schwimmer on Monday night, as RadarOnline.com has learned our DWTS blogger has the flu.
Lacey Schwimmer Injured
Schwimmer became sick with the virus Thursday while traveling in New York with her dance partner, Iron Chef America's Mark Dacascos.

But the show will go on, with fellow pro dancer Anna Trebunskaya filling in for Lacey.
Lacey is the third contestant on the show this season to be struck down with the flu, Derek Hough and Mark Ballass have both been ill this year.
And don't fret Lacey fans, her rep Ben Russo tells RadarOnline.com that Lacey will be back Tuesday night to dance on the results show.

Our adorable exclusive DWTS blogger Lacey Schwimmer was bound to end up on her dancing partner Mark Dacascos' turf eventually.
The fiesty choreographer and recently-announced recording star hit New York City for a Food Network event with Dacascos, where she helped him prepare Black Russian Figs with Bleu Cheese Cream and Prosciutto di Parma.
Schwimmer and the Bleu Cheese don't see eye to eye.
