A woman married the man of her dreams and her best friend since college, only to have him die just six weeks after she walked down the aisle.

Bethany Schmidt met future husband, Ryan Smith, when they were both students at the University of Oregon in 2005, and after graduation they moved into a small one-bedroom apartment in Eugene, where she got a job in graphic design and he worked in finance.

A former model turned cannibal who killed her husband and then cooked and ate some of his body parts is scheduled to appear before a parole board next week after twenty years behind bars, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

A former model turned cannibal who killed her husband and then cooked and ate some of his body parts is scheduled to appear before a parole board next week after twenty years behind bars, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Omaima Aree Nelson was sentenced to 27 years-to-life for the grisly 1991 murder of her husband, William E. Nelson, but is now seeking an early release, reported the Daily Pilot.

According to the Daily Pilot, the Orange County district attorney's office is opposing the move on the grounds that Nelson had a history of violence before the murder, and because her crime was so especially heinous.
