The Hollywood power couple will appear at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Thursday afternoon to help launch the UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons.

While the trip was originally set up through philanthropist Scott Lazerson’s Interface Foundation, RadarOnline.com has learned that Lohan is on the trip with a UK-based production company seeking to do a documentary on human trafficking.
Publicly, Lohan is putting on a brave face.
“Going to make one of my lifelong dreams on my list of things to do in this lifetime!!!!! Wish me luck! Fill you guys in when I return to USA,” she wrote on her Twitter page. “Over 40 children saved so far...... Within one day's work...... This is what life is about..... Doing THIS is a life worth living!!! Oh, and I'm talking about being in India.”
