Cher literally wigged out for her son Chaz Bono at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards Saturday night.

The superstar singer was there to cheer on Chaz, who was honored for his documentary about being transgender. The award was presented on stage by Chaz's stepmother, Rep. Mary Bono Mack.

To help celebrate her 90th birthday, funny lady and animal lover Betty White was gifted by a simply zoo-tastic cake!

The Hot in Cleveland star was at the Los Angeles Zoo Saturday where she was presented with a cake created by the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.

White's favorite animals, including a giraffe, elephant, koala, parrot, snake and porcupine, and the word "Bettywood" in the image of the iconic Hollywood Hills, decorated the chocolate blackout cake. It contained an amazing 90 lbs. of sugar, 470 eggs, and 50 lbs. of butter!

Betty's birthday was January 17, and she's starting the new year with a new Candid Camera-like reality show for the senior set, Off Their Rockers.

Betty White, who celebrates her 90th birthday on January 17, was well-honored at the 2012 People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, getting a pair of standing ovations from her show business peers.

“Thank you with all my heart,” the Golden Girl said, as she and her Hot In Cleveland castmates accepted their award for Favorite Cable TV Comedy. “But you don’t really accomplish anything!”

Move over, Ashton: TV has a new resident prankster, as pop culture phenomenon Betty White has agreed to a 12-episode deal with NBC to host and produce Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, a laugh-fest that will show senior citizens playing pranks on young people.

"People have been telling me that I’m ‘Off My Rocker’ for years -- now I can prove it," White said in a statement.

Paul Telegdy, NBC's EVP of Alternative Programming, called White "a comedic genius who escalates hilarity in any situation.

Betty White pulled off a magnificent upset at Sunday's SAG Awards, edging out four of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses to win the award for  Outstanding Female Performance in a Comedy Series for her role on TV Land's Hot In Cleveland -- it marked her first SAG Award.

In receiving the honors, the 89-year-old Golden Girl beat an impressive field that included: Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Jane Lynch (Glee), Tina Fey (30 Rock) and Sophia Vergara (Modern Family).

From her hysterical Super Bowl ad, to hosting Saturday Night Live to off-the-charts ratings, to her sitcom Hot In Cleveland, 2010's been arguably the best  (and busiest) year of Betty White's lengendary career, and she's notched another long-coveted gig as it winds down: forest ranger.

The 88-year-old Golden Girls star Tuesday was anointed a honorary forest ranger by the U.S. Forest Service, RadarOnline.com has learned, as it’s a job she long aspired to have as a child, though the forestry did not employ female workers at that time.

These days it's much different - 38 percent of rangers currently working for the U.S. Forest Service are women.

As for White’s other line of work, the new season of Hot in Cleveland returns to TV Land January 19.
