Nick Cassaevetes’ request to have a lawsuit dismissed that was filed against him in connection with the Hollywood poker scandal, has been denied by a federal judge, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Cassavetes is being sued for almost $74k in earnings by a bankruptcy trustee who is trying to recoup losses that were suffered by former clients that invested with Brad Ruderman, who was convicted in a Ponzi scheme.

The court docs state: "This adversary proceeding is not an attempt to enforce a gambling debt owed to Debtor. Rather, the Trustee is seeking to recover a fraudulent transfer to defendant.
