Rapper Heavy D will be remembered next week by family and friends in New York during two memorial services, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
A memorial for the 44-year-old legend will first be held next Wednesday, November 16, at the Yannantuono Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, New York from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A second memorial will be held the next day, November 17, at Grace Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon at 11 a.m.
Dwight Arrington Myers, known professionally as Heavy D, died on Tuesday afternoon RadarOnline.com has learned.
The hip-hop legend, who is best known for his band Heavy D & the Boyz’s hit song Now That We Found Love, was pronounced dead at a Los Angeles hospital shortly after his arrival.
Ironically, on Monday afternoon the musician paid homage to Smokin Joe Frazier on his Twitter.
