Brent Bolthouse, the highly successful club promoter and close personal friend of Adam Goldstein, held a vigil for the deceased DJ at his Hollywood home Sunday RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The guest list read like a who's who of young Hollywood with club goers and stars joining to grieve the passing of DJ AM.

"Everyone is just beside themselves with shock and grief," a Hollywood insider that was invited to the vigil told RadarOnline.com. "No one can believe Adam is dead, it's just unbelievable. He was so young and was so seemingly serious about his sobriety, it's such a waste of life."

One person that is finding it particularly tough is DJ AM's ex girlfriend, Hayley Wood. She was spotted on Robertson shortly before the vigil and
according to an eyewitness, "She was crying her eyes out. She had a few friends with her. One of them was Shannon Leto, he was consoling her."

An autopsy got underway Saturday afternoon to determine the exact cause of DJ AM's death -- but with cops already leaking the news that a crack pipe and numerous prescription drugs were found in the apartment, there's little doubt that pharmaceutics played a role in the disc jockey's tragic demise.

The sight of his body being removed from the Manhattan building Friday night was shocking enough to his family and friends but few if any were prepared for the idea that he'd fallen back into drugs.
