Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder who died at 56 last week after an eight-year battle with pancreatic cancer, would likely be living now had he immediately embraced “conventional treatment” instead of seeking out alternative remedies, according to Dr. Ramzi Amri, a researcher at Harvard Medical School.

According to CNN, the Apple exec spurned traditional treatment for nine months following his October 2003 diagnosis. The outlet said Jobs took this tack “hoping to avoid the operation through a special diet.”

Not the best move, said Amri.

“Let me cut to the chase: Mr. Jobs allegedly chose to undergo all sorts of alternative treatment options before opting for conventional medicine,” Dr. Ramzi Amri, a researcher at Harvard Medical School, wrote on Quora, a popular online forum among Silicon Valley bigwigs.

The Winklevoss twins have officially ended their battle with Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

They reached a $65 million settlement in 2008 after they claimed Zuckerberg, 27, stole their original idea for the mega-successful networking site.

But in January 2011 the twins, Cameron and Tyler, (both 29) tried to re-open the case, claiming that they should have received more for their appointed stock than the $45 per share they originally agreed on.

A Californian court would plunge Facebook and its billionaire wunderkind Mark Zuckerberg into "scorched-earth litigation" if it reversed a $65 million settlement with the social network's worst enemies, according to documents filed in the high-stakes legal battle.

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, who claim Zuckerberg stole their idea for Facebook, want the United States District Court for the Northern District of California to turnover their settlement deal worth millions in cash and stock, an agreement which ended the twins' long-running lawsuit.
