Unabomber Updates His Harvard Alumni Status, Lists Occupation As ‘Prisoner’

Even one of America’s most notorious criminals wants to stay in touch with old school friends, and while it’s understandably tough for Ted Kaczynski to chat on Facebook, the infamous ‘Unabomber’ was keen to update his Harvard alumni magazine with his current status.

While most of his former classmates at the Ivy League University are well-aware of their former pal’s predicament, Kaczynski enlightened the rest with what has got to be the most bizarre posting the class of ‘62 has read.

The mean streets of inner city Philadelphia are usually home to pick-up basketball games or touch football, and as night falls, drugs, crime and gang violence.

Now a groundbreaking scheme is bringing the ‘Kings Game’ to the slums with the surprise success of America’s first all-black polo team based in a barn in the heart of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park, reported CNN.com.

A group of inner city youth has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to swap their skateboards for saddles through the Work To Ride program where they muck out stalls in the former mounted police stable in exchange for riding the 30 horses that are kept there.

Not only are these talented teens learning equestrian skills and horsemanship, they are beating much more affluent and well-educated rivals on the polo field!

Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder who died at 56 last week after an eight-year battle with pancreatic cancer, would likely be living now had he immediately embraced “conventional treatment” instead of seeking out alternative remedies, according to Dr. Ramzi Amri, a researcher at Harvard Medical School.

According to CNN, the Apple exec spurned traditional treatment for nine months following his October 2003 diagnosis. The outlet said Jobs took this tack “hoping to avoid the operation through a special diet.”

Not the best move, said Amri.

“Let me cut to the chase: Mr. Jobs allegedly chose to undergo all sorts of alternative treatment options before opting for conventional medicine,” Dr. Ramzi Amri, a researcher at Harvard Medical School, wrote on Quora, a popular online forum among Silicon Valley bigwigs.

The dispute - which was dramatized in the award winning movie The Social Network – looked destined to go to the US Supreme Court.

They reached a $65 million settlement in 2008 after they claimed Zuckerberg, 27, stole their original idea for the mega-successful networking site.

But in January 2011 the twins, Cameron and Tyler, (both 29) tried to re-open the case, claiming that they should have received more for their appointed stock than the $45 per share they originally agreed on.
