Though Swift taped her part on Monday (performing in a sequined dress to a crowd of screaming fans), she visited the guys during their Sunday shoot. The down-to-earth teen star was "humbled" a source says when the three musicians rocked out to her song "Love Story."
Returning the favor, Swift played Band Hero with Barker's kids who were "star struck" by her when she walked through the door.

Finally a snag to all of that swag: running into your ex in front of a small, crowded room.

That was the case when swag suite pro AnnaLynne McCord ran smack into her ex, Twilight stud Kellan Lutz, at the HBO Gift Lounge during Emmy weekend. McCord had been rocking out, one hand in the air, at the DJ Guitar Hero section when Lutz entered, making a bee-line for the Camacho cigar section.

"They saw each other and it was clearly a surprise run in," a source tells RadarOnline.com. "All heads turned. Everyone was watching them since they were some of the bigger names in the suite and they clearly have a history."

History indeed, the two enjoyed a recent trip to NY since they broke up but both have been mum on the subject. The normally talkative McCord even told reporters at her previous swag suite (the Suite Life at the Mondrian’s Skybar) that she was happy to talk "but absolutely no boyfriend questions."

But this meeting was hard to avoid. "It was all very public, but they didn't act awkward," says the onlooker. "Even while people were taking pix with their blackberrys, they were not hiding the fact that they were saying hi and were happy to see each other. It was like a girl approaching a guy friend. They hugged a close hug."
The conversation was equally candid. "He had his hand on her arm at one point. They were flirty, fun and giggling." About the only thing that stood out was that the meeting was short. "Maybe because everyone was watching, they seemed to intentionally keep it brief." McCord left with her sister Angel in tow, Lutz made his way over for his cigars.

Gamers: We’re All Guitar Heros

For those of us who want to play like Rock stars, Guitar Hero and Rock band video games never leave the Wii , Playstation or Xbox.
Still, the companies that make the games are worried since sales are down. They only made 1.6 billion last year. Someone call Obamba for a stimulus package!
Even if we feel we don’t need to hold a benefit for Activision or Viacom, we have to applaud their plan to add more music genres to help boost “stagnant sales.”
DJ Hero is the planned end of year release by Activision, which taps into electronica, rap and hip-hop fans and the company plans to release twice as many Guitar Hero games this year as in 2008 starting with a version due out March 29 that features music from heavy metal band Metallica.
Viacom Inc., whose MTV division owns the rights to the Rock Band franchise, said last month that sales of Rock Band 2 were lower than it had hoped. Again, they were spoiled by a sales surge of surging 68% in 2008, but with new titles and new musical niches, we’ll think they’ll do just fine, thanks very much.
Rock Out!
