Charlize Theron was a show stopper in a slitty Dior Couture gown that featured a floppy and fabulous bow, finishing off the look with Cartier museum jewels, while Angelina Jolie ravished in a snow white and red one-shoulder Versace gown, which she complimented with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Reese Witherspoon looked sexier than ever in a figure-flattering Zac Posen stunner, while Claire Danes looked art deco divine in J. Mendel.

Return of the swan dress! Glee girl Diana Agron had a style slip-up in a quirky Giles laser cut design, which featured the bird that landed Bjork on the “worst dressed stars of all times” list, while Michelle Williams looked a little too matronly and slightly boring in a blue velvet Jason Wu gown.

As for wacky, W.E. star Andrea Riseborough filled Helena Bonham Carter’s sassy style shoes, wearing a very Elizabethan Vivienne Westwood dress, while Piper Perabo showed her panties and looked like an upside down cupcake in a sheer and incredibly big Theyskens Theory gown.

Baby bump watch! Black Swan beauty Natalie Portman finally showed off her belly in a Viktor & Rolf pink strapless gown, which featured a red rosette attaché (hopefully those muumuus are a thing of the past) while Jane Krakowski wore a blue Badgley Mischka gown, which featured a truly sexy slit.

Several stars turned to Versace for drool-worthy sexy dresses.  Angelina Jolie looked Dynasty divine in an emerald sparkler, Megan Fox showed off her curves in an asymmetrical pink gown, while January Jones showed off her golden globes in a bright red number.

Jennifer Lawrence, who scored a Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama nomination for Winter¹s Bone, looked dark and dramatic in rise and fall hemline Louis Vuitton gown. She paired the corseted top number with Chopard bling, Roger Vivier cutout heels and a Judith Leiber clutch for a flawless finish.
