Breakout rapper Pitbull said Lindsay Lohan misunderstood his intent behind mentioning her name in his smash-hit single Give Me Everything, in response to a lawsuit the embattled actress filed against him in New York’s Nassau County last Friday.

In the suit, Lilo claims the rapper used her name in an “offensive and disparaging manner” on the track, in which he brags: “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

"I was very surprised to me when I found out about the lawsuit," the soft-spoken rapper, who's real name is Armando Christian Pérez, told Univision News. "It was very ironic."
