Whoopi Goldberg ended her three-days-old feud with the New York Times Wednesday, as the fiercely opinionated host of The View apologized to the paper after declaring them guilty of "sloppy journalism" a few days back.

Here's how the whole fiasco played out:

Goldberg, on Monday's edition of The View, said she was upset by a Sunday article by critics Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott about the history of African Americans and the Oscars, thinking that her supporting actress Academy Award for 1990's Ghost had been overlooked.

She said she was "dismissed and erased by the New York Times critics who should know better," and implored the paper to "get your facts straight!"

Whoopi Goldberg got the first Oscar snub of the season -- for an award she won 20 years ago!

The View personality was infuriated by a Sunday New York Times article by critics Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott, about the history of African Americans and the Oscars. The article completely omitted Goldberg’s best supporting actress Academy Award for 1990s' Ghost, as if it never existed.

"I have to tell you, it hurt me terribly," Whoopi groused. "When you win an Academy Award, that's part of your legacy ... and to be dismissed and erased by the New York Times critics who should know better ... this is not hidden information.

Patrick Swayze’s body will be cremated within 48 hours, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

His ashes will be spread across his ranch in New Mexico, a source told RadarOnline.com.

Swayze loved the ranch and visited whenever he could. Swayze turned his Rancho de Días Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days) into a wildlife preserve and timber farm, he loved the rugged mountains and canyons of his ranch and the cowboy life he led there.

He had his own plane that he would pilot and fly there often.

People in town loved the actor, and he said it was his favorite place in the world.

Swayze’s  body is currently in Los Angeles.

The actor, best known for his roles is such movie classics as Dirty Dancing, Point Break and Ghost, died September 14 after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.

Patrick Swayze will be missed by many and his dearest friends and colleagues continue to share their thoughts about the beloved actor. His most famous leading lady Demi Moore remembers the man behind the heartthrob with words from their iconic film Ghost:

"Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives," she said in a statement. "In the words of Sam to Molly. 'It's amazing Molly. The love inside, you take it with you.' I will miss you. Demi"
