Quarterback Peyton Manning could have had the NFL’s first male cheerleader rallying fans on the sidelines next season, but sadly Sacha Heppell didn’t make the cut for a coveted spot on the Denver Broncos squad.

The amateur dancer, whose past work experience revolves around dancing on a street corner with a sign, joined 300 beautiful women in their bid to support their favorite football team at the tryouts held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium on Sunday, reported Denver.CBSLocal.com.

Roseanne Barr seems to be taking this presidential thing seriously.

The comedian insisted her candidacy is no laughing matter when she spoke to a small group of Green Party supporters at the Mayflower Club in North Hollywood Friday night.

She laid out her platform that includes making marijuana use and same sex marriage legal and and forgiving student loans.

“I will not let the idiots go unanswered,” she said of the mainstream crop of candidates. “It is time to point upward and hold their feet to the fire."

Roseanne knows though that sitcom stars and stand-up comics aren't what voters usually look for when marking their ballots.  Her main credential, she said, is that "I'm not George W. Bush!"

The Green Party's convention will take place in July.

The couple, who first met in 2004, became engaged last year.

Among the wedding guests were the bride's cousins, former First Daughters Jenna and Barbara Bush, plus former President and First Lady George W. and Barbara Bush, and another uncle, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

The ceremony took place at the 1,700 acre Double RL Ranch owned by Ralph Lauren and his wife Ricky, in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

The bride's father Neil Bush walked Lauren down the aisle.  She was appropriately attired in a wedding gown designed by her new father-in-law.

And just in case you're wondering -- and we know you are -- the bride will now be known as Lauren Bush-Lauren.
