Alec Baldwin has been cut from the video that will open tonight's Emmy Awards show.
The video is a series of skits that are intended to be a comical look at the world of TV. Baldwin played the president of a fictional network in a bit that included a joke about the Rupert Murdoch phone hacking scandal.

After weeks of speculation over her continued involvement in the show, Jennifer Lopez has reportedly agreed to stay on American Idol.
The singer has followed in the footsteps of the other current judges, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, and signed on the dotted line for the 11th season of the FOX show, according to E! Online.

But few stars go out of their way to make their fan’s dreams come true – enter Mark Salling, who not only made his super fan’s day, he pretty much made her year!
“Mark had this fan that was just crazy about him,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “She would write him constantly and even set up a website. She’s been trying to get everyone, like Perez Hilton, Ryan Seacrest and Fox TV to put her in contact with Mark but wasn’t able to reach him.

“Eventually Mark heard about the website and he arranged for her to get her 2 tickets to the sold out Radio City Music Hall show in New York this weekend, out of his personal ticket allotment. To say he made this girl’s dreams come true is an understatement!”

Some stars might have been uncomfortable with this level of adoration, but it seems Mark really appreciates his fans. On her website, the super fan, Ashley Faith, professes her love for Salling, even going so far as to perform a special song she penned for him which professes “I’m so obsessed” and “Hey Mark Salling, it’s you I want to marry”.

Usher brought his sunglasses/silver chain cool to Tuesday’s American Idol in a show that saw Crystal Bowersox continue to impress while Casey James, Michael Lynche and Lee DeWyze got high praise from judges on a night that showcased the Top 10.

Bowersox took on Gladys Knight’s Midnight Train to Georgia and ditched her guitar for a piano, after hinting last week that change was coming. That change didn’t diminish the judges’ praise but caused Simon to warn her not to change her identity based on outside input!

Pop the popcorn, find the remote and sit back because the Octo-Mom spectacle is now a can't miss two-hour TV special that will air on Fox August 19.
"Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage" will chronicle the "emotional struggles, physical complications, and financial burdens of the mother of 14," according to Fox.
