A dog, who was sentenced to death at the pound after he was abandoned, miraculously survived the gas chamber, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Daniel the Beagle was a dead dog walking when he was lead to the gas chamber with 17 other dogs at the Animal Control Department in Florence, Alabama, reported the Huffington Post via the AP.

But somehow the 20-pound hound survived the fatal dose of carbon monoxide that killed his fellow stray pups and walked out again unscathed and even wagging his tail, much to the confusion of shelter staff.

"It may be that his breathing was shallow because of a cold or something. Or maybe God just had a better plan for this one," Phil Stevenson, a Florence city spokesman, said on Friday.

Snooki, J-WOWW, The Situation and the gang were snapped returning to their native Seaside Heights Sunday, after a six-week excursion to Italy, where they taped the show’s fourth season.

As we previously reported, recent rumors of MTV replacing the star-studded cast were apparently just that: rumors.

"We love the present cast and their summer adventures have just begun," an MTV spokesperson said in a statement in response to the rumblings. "We currently have no plans to recast the show."

Say cheese! (Or better yet – say mozzarella!)

As for the girls, J-WOWW and Sammi Sweetheart stole the show with short skirts that showcased their mile-long legs. Not to be outdone, Snooki wore a leopard skin get-up with thigh high boots.

The fellas didn't deviate from their usual fashion formula, as all looked to be clad in their tried and true style -- you know, the gel, sunglasses and trendy muscle tees.

It wasn't a good day for Snooki. She stumbled coming out of a bar with her best Jersey Shore pal, J-WOWW, cutting her knee in the process.

The girls crossed a piazza and then sat on the steps of Pizzeria O'Vesuvio -- the Jersey Shore cast is working there during their weeks in Florence, Italy -- and J-WOWW tended to her friend's wounded knee.

For once, the Snookster didn't want to be seen.  She kept her hat pulled down over her face the entire time.

Her foul-mouthed rants on The Jersey Shore have made her a TV hit but Snooki's latest 'curse' could land her in more hot water than she bargained for.

Wearing a tiny zebra print skirt, huge fluffy boots and with a mega phone in hand, Snooki's appearance, and actions, horrified the old lady so much, she pointed her finger at her and cursed the diminitive diva.

Snooki was attempting to drum-up business for the pizza restaurant the cast have been working at for the show – clearly, not everyone was impressed by her tactics!

Three of the four fellas in the Jersey Shore crew -- Pauly D, Ronnie Magro and Vinny Guadagnino -- were having the time of their lives in Florence, Italy, and we've got the images for you.

The reality stars, flanked by a trio of blonde beauties, looked at home with their season four surroundings, good-naturedly running amok on the Italian streets. At one point, Vinny stole flowers from a street vendor (he later returned to pay for them) and offered them to various passersby.

They were reportedly headed to a local watering hole called Astor Bar, where the frenzied fun was sure to continue.
