Steven Slater pulled off the rare hat trick of network morning shows Wednesday, as the former JetBlue flight attendant landed on ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS’ The Early Show and NBC's Today Show to discuss the day he quit his job -- and became famous in the process.

Slater's been very quiet up until now, but with charges stemming from the incident settled earlier this month, he's been on a media rampage, first appearing with Larry King Tuesday night, prior to making the network rounds Wednesday morning.

Of his August 8 inflight freak-out , he told Good Morning America that "it was one of those days that drove me to drink, and I admit that I had a little sip. It was time to go. I was in a little bit of a state of rage ... I was done at that moment.

Former JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater has given his first indepth TV interview - speaking to Larry King on Tuesday - about his now infamous August 9 incident in which he opened the emergency exit door of the plane he was working on, grabbed a can of beer, deployed an inflatable slide and slid off the aircraft, with some hailing him a "folk hero" in the wake of his well-publicized meltdown.

Steven Slater - the former JetBlue flight attendant whose meltdown made him an instant celebrity - has pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal mischief, and in exchange, he will not go to jail, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Steven Slater - the former JetBlue flight attendant whose meltdown made him an instant celebrity - has pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal mischief, and in exchange, he will not go to jail, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Slater entered the guilty plea to the two counts (one of which is a felony, the other a misdemeanor) Tuesday morning in a courtroom in Queens, New York.

In exchange for the guilty plea, Supreme Court Judge Marcia Hirsch delayed a one to three year sentence. However, the deal does requires that he enter a year-long mental health program and also receive substance and alcohol abuse counseling.

Steven Slater - the former JetBlue flight attendant whose meltdown made him an instant celebrity - is expected to enter a guilty plea in a Queens, New York courtroom on Tuesday, RadarOnline.com can report.

In exchange for the plea, Slater - who's charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and trespassing - will likely avoid any jail time.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Slater's attorneys have been talking with authorities from the District Attorney's office, as to whether or not it's appropriate for the former flight attendant to be evaluated at a treatment center prior to determining what type of court-ordered treatment he would undergo. Options include anger management or alcohol/drug treatment -- if authorities approve.

Slater made headlines in August when he made a dramatic exit from his job at JetBlue.  After losing his cool with passengers, Slater announced he was quitting.  He grabbed two beers, deployed the emergency slide and made his great escape.

His "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" rant now several days behind him, Steven Slater spent Saturday working only on his tan.  RadarOnline.com has photos of the former JetBlue flight attendant basking in the sun -- and the glow of his new-found fame -- at NY's Rockaway Beach.

RadarOnline.com has photos of the former JetBlue flight attendant basking in the sun -- and the glow of his new-found fame -- at NY's Rockaway Beach.

Slater was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and trespassing, less than 24 hours after his on-board meltdown.  After cursing out his passengers over the PA system, he grabbed two beers, deployed the emergency slide, and exited the plane.

Slater initially told authorities that an altercation with a rude passenger who stood up and opened the overhead bin while the plane was still moving on its arrival at JFK, was what caused him to snap.

RadarOnline.com has spoken to eyewitnesses who disputed Slater's version of events, and suggested he was angry and acting bizarrely the entire flight.

Steve Slater's boyfriend Ken Rochelle spoke with reporters in New York Thursday on how his partner is doing in the wake of  a turbulent  week that saw the JetBlue flight attendant become an overnight celebrity, after abruptly exiting his job in unprecedented fashion, leading to his arrest.

Rochelle, who lives with the 38-year-old Slater in a Rockaway Park, New York apartment, said "its still a little overwhelming" for them both, and he's proud of his boyfriend.
