Kim Kardashian dressed her rocking body in a curve-clinging little black Topshop mini dress with "cosmic" shoulder embellishments to host the Aces & Angels Celebrity Poker Party at the Playboy Mansion. Keeping up with her big sis, Khloe didn't disappoint in the style department sporting a Lalia Azhar one-shoulder draped silk-jersey minidress with a strategically located twist to cover any midriff insecurities ( a very smart style trick!)
Victoria's Secret Angel Alessadra Ambrosio went high class beach-chic in Malibu donning a strapless violet-ruffle hem summer dress with hip-retro mirrored aviator shades. Also hitting up the "bu", stylish Mama Jessica Alba was snapped leaving Taverna Tony Greek restaurant in a black, white, and grey getup adding a pop of color with hot pink nails!
In Paterson New Jersey, Real Housewife Teresa Giudice was representing Jersey's finest maternity fashions -- NOT -- in a loud electric green getup with an oversized Paris Hilton-esque glamband (not to mention chunky gold jewelry and thick metallic strap sandals).
Taking the place of Spanish enchantress Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson was presented in Madrid as the new face of Mango in a sizzingly stylish black pencil skirt and flutter sleeve satin blouse by the Spain-based fashion company.

Emma Watson made not one, but two fashionable appearances at the David Letterman show in NYC. The young British beauty showed up in a bold polka-dot mini-dress and very in-Brit-vogue two-tone wingtips, and she exited in a nude organza Christopher Kane dress with black trim and funky black and gold platforms. Two looks in two hours, the Harry Potter darling was shoe-tastic.
Also at the Letterman show, Queen Latifah flopped in the style department in a modern day, flashdance top with cutouts, black leggings, and grey suede booties. She maybe the Queen, but her look is anything but regal.
In Los Angeles, Rumer Willis hit up the opening of the U.S. Moods of Norway flagship attempting the color-blocked trend, but failing in an orange Jersey dress and canary yellow ballet flats.
Going full on yellow, Privileged actress Joanna Garcia created a buzz in New York, stepping out in a fab yellow mini with retro aviators in hand, while Lilo used her shades in a practical-yet-fashionable way to shield the paps in Los Angeles.
In Paris, Kylie Minogue sat front and center at the Jean Paul Gaultier couture show in a stunning black corset button-front dress by the designer, complete with a matching fan.
And across the pond in London, singer-turned-TV fashion host Kelly Rowland proved that Beyonce isn't the only Destiny's Child alum with blinged out fashion.

Celebrities are turning it out in France for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, amping up their fab fashion factors in designer frocks -- but they are not, however, stepping out in over-the-top distracting garb -- call it "less-is-more" week.

Megan Fox oozes sexiness in whatever she wears, but chose a body-fit dove grey single-shoulder Armani dress paired with peep-toe pumps and her signature statement red lipstick for a demure look to take her seat at the designer's runway show.
Meanwhile, at the Dior show, fashionista Marion Cotillard downplayed her style factor, so-much-so that her belted black sheath dress is bland. Doing Dior the way it was meant to be worn, New York celebutante Tinsley Mortimer chose a flirty and fashion forward black and gold print belted top and sheer skirt by the design house.
Stateside, at the Louis Vuitton store in Beverly Hills, Jessica Biel coordinated a tailored suit jacket with a black and white print miniskirt fabulously for a Vanity Fair Event. Julia Roberts' young, style-conscious niece Emma was snapped leaving the same affair in a statement-embellished Louis Vuitton two-toned maroon jacket teamed with skinny jeans and peep-toe pumps.
In New York, Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere garnered David Letterman's attention in a black lace Caroline Seikaly number with heavy-duty Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator sandals. Harry Potter's Emma Watson also chose a sophisticated presentation in a jewel necklined, drop-waist Proenza Schouler dress for the London Photocall of her new movie.

Looking sexy without showing off too-much-skin is an art, one which many of our A-list celebrity faves demonstrated their mastery of Monday night. For the most part, star styles were not about short and skimpy, but rather stylish and glamorous get-ups that embodied sophistication and elegance -- with a chic twist!

Megan Fox traded in her skin-showing, curve-clinging, cleavage-baring numbers for a mature-yet-stylish optic white jersey Kaufman Franco gown, accentuating the look with a triple-layer black belt for the Los Angeles Transformers premiere. Also hitting up the red carpet, Kristin Cavallari beamed in a fuchsia Zac Posen structured number and Aubrey O'Day shined (with clothes on) in an azure Temperly London toga gown.
On the other end of the style spectrum, at the same premiere, Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen opted for the "Material Girl" mini look in an off-white bustier dress with lace-up sandals and smokey make-up!
Across Hollywood, Cameron Diaz was all smiles receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in an Oscar de la Renta resort collection ivory lace dress teamed with a red patent belt and matching Sergio Rossi pumps. Everyone wanted to be in those shoes!
Beyonce proved you don't have to wear Balmain to look like a star, sporting a $49 Dereon top at an NYC event-- her heels, however, were way above the double digit price-point!

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Princess Chic to Messy Hot
Posted on Jun 19, 2009 @ 02:26PM - Add a comment
Disney darling's Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are growing up in style, both sporting sophisticated minis for the Princess Protection Program Toronto premiere. While Selena Gomez's single-shoulder white organza Tadashi Shoji number is original and stunning, Demi attempted a style war in the
very-widely publicized (i.e. played-out) Alexander Wang blush-and-black corset mini that has been seen on both Rihanna and Paris Hilton.
In London for a pre-Wimbledon event, the Williams sisters proved that their fashion sense rivals their tennis skills -- the style aces shimmered in Ralph Lauren summer looks -- Serena in gold-sequined Harem pants and Venus in a high-stylin' beige bow-collar dress.
Also in London, Sienna Miller was either a hot mess or messy hot in a skin-showing embellished blouse, Temperley London structured studded jacket, shimmery platforms, and an I-don't-care hairdo.
Contrasting their milky skin with popping color, Christina Ricci sported a purple-belted mini with stark white patent pumps in Los Angeles, while The Wrestler's Evan Rachel Wood worked a tight-fitting emerald green dress in Paris.

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Hot Heels & Putrid Pumps

Never underestimate the power of the perfectly paired pump! Celebrities stepped out last night and as important as the dresses they flaunted were the heels they walked in.
Always donning punchy styles, Riri didn't wear her high-hair, but showed off star-studded ankle boots, shield shades, and rolled up jeans for dinner in NYC. Still fairly new to the city, the usually-stylish Whitney Port had too much going on in her look, teaming heavily-hardwared heels with a purple floral dress for a stroll in Soho.
Uptown, at the 2009 Whitney Contemporaries Art Party in NYC, Herve Leger dresses were the theme of the evening. Melissa George went fashion-forward in a super-mod white, high-collared bandage dress and matching sky-high heels. Lake Bell was horrifically Miss Matched and Ali Larter had smokin' style from the ankle up.
Across the pond in the UK, Isla Fisher turned it out in a "Very Niiiice" mini number!
