TLC is suing Jon Gosselin for breach of contract in part because of other business deals the cable net claims he was doing in violation of their exclusive agreement, and they've subpoenaed his former best friend Michael Lohan as a witness.

"He did deals with me," Lohan told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. "I was working on a deal with him for a Nutrisystem endorsement and a book deal. He got a paid a lot of money for different promotions, clubs, magazines, and by a TV network."
As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, even Jon & Kate Plus 8 advertisers were complaining to TLC about Gosselin's recent behavior which interferred with production of the show.

Lohan told us he didn't know his deals with Jon might be in violation of his TLC contract. "At times he said what we were doing was ok; at times times he said it was a problem. I guess that’s why he got paid cash for so many of the personal appearances so no one would know.
"He would get paid between $2,500-$5,000 or even more," Lohan claimed. "Some casinos would give him poker chips. I was negotiating a deal for Nutrisystem but when the negative press came out Nutrisystem ran for the hills. We didn’t get to the numbers with Nutrisystem but it would have been six-figures."

Screams could be heard around the world Friday night when Rob Pattinson and his fellow New Moon cast members kicked off the Twilight Mall Tour in Los Angeles and RadarOnline.com was there to watch the crowd go crazy for their favorite vampire, his love and his rival. In a surprise appearance in front of hundreds of fans Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner took to the stage to fandemonium following performances by four bands that are on the New Moon soundtrack. We noticed that Rob and host Ted Stryker were wearing matching plaid shirts on stage, and looking handsome as ever Rob charmed the adoring fans. "First of all, thanks to you guys," RPattz said while fans went crazy. "Without you Twilight wouldn't be anywhere so thanks very much."

Kristen Stewart glammed up for the evening in a black dress with a lovely sleek up do and stunning red lipstick. "Thank you so much and please give it up for Death Cab for Cutie and all the rest of the bands who made the New Moon soundtrack so cool," a poised Kristen said to the fans. Death Cab For Cutie, Sea Wolf, Anya Marina and Band of Skulls all performed their songs from the soundtrack for the crowd.

Taylor Lautner then told the crowd "We have a special treat, the whole entire cast is about ready to come on stage and they're going to answer your questions so thank you, it should be exciting." To the crowd's delight Rob, Kristen and Taylor introduced the rest of the cast members. Rob, in his charming British accent introduced Chaske Spencer, Jamie Campbell Bower and Alex Meraz and Kellan Lutz. Kristen introduced Cameron Bright, Kiowa Gordon, Bronson Pelletier and Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie. Taylor Lautner introduced Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser. Rob doubled over with laughter when they realized that they had forgotten to bring Billy Burke on stage.

The New Moon Mall Tour kicked off on Friday in Los Angeles at the Hollywood & Highland Center, and in addition to surprise appearances by Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner four of the bands with songs on the soundtrack performed for the crowd and told RadarOnline.com about what they thought about their songs in the movie.

"It was a little nerve wracking, but it was exciting," Anya Marina said about seeing her song Satellite Heart in the movie the night before. "It's in the scene where Edward is driving Bella home and they're sort of listening to me on the radio, which was a trip."

Band of Skulls, who opened the concert and performed their song Friends, admitted it was the first time they played the song live. "I think it's the motorbike scene, I just found that out yesterday," Russell Marsden told RadarOnline.com. Fans are disappointed Rob won't be singing on the New Moon soundtrack but the band said they'd be happy to have their fellow Brit play with them. "He's quite the musician isn't he?" Russell Mardsen said.

Several of TLC’s long-time advertisers complained to the network about Jon Gosselin’s “erratic, widely publicized behavior,” according to court papers obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.

The affidavit reveals many of the terms of the Gosselins’ contract with the network and details numerous breaches by Jon. The court file also reveals that CBS has admitted to TLC Jon was paid to appear recently on two of their programs – also a violation of his contract.
As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, Jon will be questioned under oath when TLC’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Jon is heard on December 14.

In h is affidavit Sabin also says that Jon refused to cooperate with TLC’s filming schedule and that on the day the network decided to change the show, Jon’s lawyer demanded release from the exclusivity provision of the contract but still wanted to be paid.
“Mr. Heller informed TLC’s representative that if this release was not forthcoming within an hour, Mr. Gosselin would object in public fashion to any further filming of his children.”
The preliminary injunction sought by TLC would prevent Jon from violating the exclusivity, non-endorsement, confidentiality, and publicity provisions of his contract with TLC.

The lucky fans at the New Moon Mall Tour and Hot Topic signing on Friday night at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles were treated to a special surprise appearance by Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner and RadarOnline.com was on hand to see Rob-mania. The three stars of the movie caused the crowd to go wild when they appeared on stage and thanked the Twilight fans for their adoration. RPattz, Kristen and Taylor introduced their cast mates to the crowd and the rest of the New Moon actors spent more than twenty minutes answering fan questions.

Stryker, the host (who was wearing the same shirt as RPattz!) had almost the entire cast on stage for the Q&A session.
