Heartbroken Maria Shriver continued to show the strains of her marriage breakdown to Arnold Schwarzenegger as she attended the Special Olympics Conference in Greece, and RadarOnline.com has the photos.

With a 'Former First Lady Of California' pass hung around her neck, Shriver forced a smile as she greeted some of the athletes who were staying at her Athens hotel.

But while she put on a brave face to continue her duties there was no denying she appeared tired and gaunt.

Tributes Wednesday poured in for Senator Ted Kennedy, the longtime Massachusetts senator who died Tuesday night at 77 after battling brain cancer for a year.

"An important chapter in our history has come to an end," President Barack Obama, vacationing at Martha's Vineyard, said Wednesday. "Our country has lost a great leader, who picked up the torch of his fallen brothers and became the greatest United States senator of our time."

Eunice Kennedy Shriver died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at a Cape Cod, Massachusetts hospital at the age of 88.

Shriver, the fifth of nine children, was the younger sister of President John F. Kennedy, the mother of Maria Shriver, and mother-in-law of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Shriver family issued a statement via Eunice's Web site Tuesday, memorializing their beloved matriarch.
