Erica’s father Mel Blasberg confirmed to RadarOnline.com exclusively that the family is moving forward with a civil action suit against Dr. Thomas Hess, who was charged with obstruction of justice for removing her suicide note and some prescriptions pills from her home.

The doctor charged with obstructing justice in the suicide of pro golfer Erica Blasberg turned himself in and was released on bail, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
Dr. Thomas Hess surrendered to Henderson, Nevada, police Tuesday afternoon after an arrest warrant was issued in connection with allegations he removed items from the scene of professional golfer Erica Blasberg’s home where she was found dead on May 9.

The death of LPGA star Erica Blasberg has been ruled a suicide by the Clark County Coroner’s Office in Nevada.
It’s a terrible ending to the investigation of the golfer’s tragic death and authorities told RadarOnline.com that she was found with a plastic bag over her head.
RadarOnline.com has obtained audio of the 911 call made by Dr. Thomas Hess – who said he knew her from the golf club – and found her lifeless body inside her Henderson, Nevada home.

“I need to report a suicide,” Hess told the 911 dispatcher. “I came by to check on her last night and she had a couple drinks…I came by to check on her now and she’s dead.
“She put a bag on her head.”
Pro Golfer Erica Blasberg Found Dead
The call was placed on May 9 when Hess stopped by Blasberg’s home to check on her.
“She was supposed to be leaving for a golf tournament but she didn’t,” Hess told the operator to explain his concern for Blasberg. “She picked up the phone and she sounded intoxicated at that time.”

The father of Erica Blasberg breaks his silence for the first time since the sudden and mysterious death of the 25-year-old, and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive interview.
“No one is doing well,” Mel Blasberg told RadarOnline.com.
”Anybody losing a child is going to grieve and when you have a child who was doing so many things and affecting so many people it’s that much worse.
“We’re no different than anybody else but probably magnified a little bit.”
Erica’s agent Chase Callahan says authorities are still baffled by Erica’s death earlier this month inside her suburban Las Vegas home.
“It’s still a mystery,” Callahan told RadarOnline.com.
“We haven’t gotten any facts from the police department, other than it’s an ongoing investigation. We know that they’re still investigating.”

Blasberg’s body was discovered on May 9 inside her three-bedroom home in Henderson, Nevada.
While police have not discounted suicide, Callahan insisted that the golfer would “absolutely not” take her own life.
The Clark County Coroner’s office told RadarOnline.com that there is no new information at this time.

“This was a happy, fun-loving girl,” he said.

“I just have been kind of waiting for the investigation to play out and we’ll go from there because whatever the result is it’s not going to bring her back.”
Callahan also rejected reports the golfer had been hanging around with the wrong crowd.
“Not at all,” he said.

“Erica was somebody who would casually drink and for as long as I’ve known her has never done any drugs... that’s absolutely not Erica.
“The people she hung around with were people of high net worth.”

The mysterious death of pro golfer Erica Blasberg on May 9 is still under investigation, but at the memorial service Wednesday in her hometown of Corona, California friends remembered her as an “outstanding golfer with an infectious laugh and smile,” RadarOnline.com has learned.

Shane Bacon remembers how she tried to extend the camaraderie off the golf course by jokingly sneaking into the boys’ locker room.
“She was one of the guys off the golf course and she played like one of the guys,” he said.

Erica played golf at Corona High School, which didn’t have a women’s team so she played on the men’s team.
Teammate Scott Walker said she was extremely “talented, pretty and funny.”

“She had a laugh about her that was very contagious and when you heard it, it brought joy to everyone else,” he said. “And sometimes she’d have to walk out of the room because she was laughing so hard.”

After the two-hour service, with her Yorkie and friend Winston nearby, Erica’s coffin was taken to a waiting hearse.

Former coach at the University of Arizona Greg Allen tearfully said she was like a big sister to his children.

“She brought me a lot closer to my kids at home,” he said. “Like [her mother] Deb said at the service make sure you give your kids a hug every time they leave the house, go to school, and tuck them into bed because you never know when the good lord is going to call you home.”
Nevada authorities have not yet released a cause of death.
