Petra Ecclestone Outdoes Kim Kardashian With Superstar Wedding

Robin Thicke and Earth, Wind and Fire are nothing to sneeze at but when billionaire heiress Petra Ecclestone married on Saturday, she had opera superstar Andrea Bocelli serenading the guests before the sunset ceremony, rock icon Eric Clapton playing the newlywed's first dance and none other than The Black Eyed Peas as the dance band!

Now that's a wedding!

Petra's walk-down-the-aisle with James Stunt is estimated to have cost $6.5 million, and there wasn't a cable network paying the tab. Of course that's small potatoes for the 22-year-old who recently paid $85 million for Candy Spelling's Los Angeles estate.

There were no signs of wedding day nerves for the daughter of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone as she arrived at her over-the-top nuptials in the back of a Rolls Royce looking calm and collected.

No expense was spared for the magical event at a castle in the Italian town of Bracciano -- the same one where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wed in 2006 --  with guests sipping on $6,000 a bottle wine and Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne while watching acrobats and fireworks.

The bride's custom-made Vera Wang dress reportedly cost in the region of $120,000.

Paris, Nicky and Kathy Hilton, David Arquette, and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were among the 250 VIP guests.

Her sister, Tamara, was Petra's maid of honor.

Petra and her new husband will be spending much of their time in Los Angeles, after her massive renovations on the Spelling mansion are complete.

When Amy Winehouse died Saturday, she instantly became a member of the bizarre '27 Club.'  That's an extraordinary group of famed musicians who all died at the young age of 27.

The most famous member of the 'club', which is also referred to as 'Forever 27', is Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain who committed suicide on April 5, 1994 by shooting himself in the head following a heroin and Valium binge.

Kurt was married to Hole rocker Courtney Love at the time and the pair had a 2-year-old daughter, Frances Bean.

Love's own band-member Kristen Pfaff died several months later, on June 16, 1994, from an opiate overdose. She was also 27.

Guitar legend Jimi Hendrix choked to death on his own vomit after overdosing on sleeping pills and red wine on September 18, 1970 and just weeks later, on October 4, singer/songwriter Janis Joplin died from a heroin overdose on October 4.  They were both 27.

The Doors front man Jim Morrison was found dead at 27.  He was discovered  in a bathtub in his Paris apartment on July 3, 1971 and was listed as having died from congestive heart failure, although no autopsy was carried out and Jim had a history of heroin abuse.

Brian Jones, one of the founding members of The Rolling Stones, drowned at age 27 in a swimming poll on July 3,1967.

Robert Johnson is widely believed to be the original member of the '27 Club' after he was poisoned with strychnine and died on August 16, 1938.

Guitar icon and three time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Eric Clapton announced today that he will release his 19th solo studio album on September 28, 2010 simply titled “CLAPTON.”

Co-produced by guitarist and long-time collaborator Doyle Bramhall II, the album features an all star cast of musical collaborations starting with the legendary JJ Cale, drummer Jim Keltner, bassist Willie Weeks, and keyboardist Walt Richmond—and the sessions later added guests including Steve Winwood, Wynton Marsalis, Sheryl Crow, Allen Toussaint, and Derek Trucks.

"This album wasn’t what it was intended to be at all," says Eric Clapton. "It’s actually better than it was meant to be because, in a way, I just let it happen. It’s an eclectic collection of songs that weren’t really on the map—and I like it so much because if it’s a surprise to the fans, that’s only because it’s a surprise to me, as well."

Lammers at first asked Charlotte about dating “Martin Sheen.”  Charlotte demurred, explaining that Martin was married with six kids.  Realizing his faux pas, Lammers corrected himself, and pointed out that he meant “Charlie Sheen.”

Charlotte, played coy but admitted the pair had dated.
