As 80% of America freezes, Jennifer Lopez made the most of the beautiful Miami weather Friday, lazing by a swimming pool with her twins Max and Emme.

Despite the balmy weather J-Lo remained relatively covered up, with a blue all in one, large shades and a red bandana while adorable Max and Emme rocked matching Burberry outfits.

The only way things are going to change in the fashion industry and media, she says, is if consumers take action into their own hands, instead of waiting for someone else to speak up.

Emme has had her own experiences of being released from jobs because of weight gain. "As a model I was released from jobs for no apparent reason, just saying that they were moving on, and it was understood. I had to be thick skinned to deal with the industry."

Now that Ralph Lauren has apologized for altering the image of the already thin model, Emme says that the powerful design company needs to take action, by representing a more realistic image of the American woman in all of their advertising campaigns.

For those inclined to smell like the stars, several bold names have announced forthcoming fragrances.
Christina Aguilera will release "By Night" in September, meant tentatively for European markets. The follow-up to her original, self-titled scent, this bottle is intended as a sexier, evening perfume with notes of mandarin, freesia and sandalwood.
On the other end of the spectrum, Patrick Dempsey will release his second men's fragrance, simply titled "II" through Avon, where his wife Jillian Fink is an exec.
