But fortunately for the Malcolm In The Middle star, his fingers soon thawed out and he was able to give a blow by blow account of his disastrous dilemma via Twitter.

"I just spent the last 2 hrs locked out on a 3rd story balcony, freezing my butt off," he wrote. "Just went to change a lightbulb, but the door locked.

"So I contemplated a bunch of James Bond-ish escape routes. Jumping 10 feet to a tree branch and shimmying down, scaling gutters down.

"But I realized that even if I got off the balcony, I would still be locked out. Keep in mind, my phone was left inside.

LISTEN TO THE 911 CALL HERE

"So, I decided to ram the door open. I did successfully. Now after 45 minutes of holding wood glue and all the pieces, I fixed the door. Good times. Goodnight."

Last week, RadarOnline.com obtained the desperate 911 call Muniz made to cops in which he called girlfriend, Elycia Turnbow, 'crazy'.

The 25-year-old told a female dispatcher that Elycia was trashing his house and punching him in the face.

A police report filed alleged Muniz had held a gun to his head and threatened suicide.

But a rep for the couple insisted a firearm played no part in the disagreement and that they were back on track with their relationship.

To which his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow can be heard, in the background, bemoaning: "Oh my god!"

The actor then refers to Turnbow as "little girl".

"I just want her to stop," Muniz said, pleading with the operator not to dispatch police to the house.

"Can you talk to her and calm her down?"

The 25-year-old star is heard telling Turnbow, "Babe, you just damaged the house... You are still damaging the house."

"You hit me," she responded, to which he declared, "I did not hit you!"

Muniz then told the operator: "I love her so much, but I can't have 10 thousand dollar art pieces damaged, throwing things at me.

"I don't want to escalate it because the love of my life has had a bad day!"

According to cops who filed a report after responding to the complaint, Turnbow said Muniz put a gun to his head after an "intense" altercation over "prior relationships."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, police detailed how the 25-year-old actor "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide" during the violent clash.

Despite that, Muniz said via his rep he was not suicidal, nor did he assault Turnbow .

"Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago," said publicist Lauren Tobin.

"A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping."

But it seems the pair have already made up, as Muniz' posted a photo to Twitter showing he and Turnbow on Valentines Day, with dining table set including flowers and linens.
