Pippa Middleton is ensconcing herself into the Royal Family and has now bagged herself an invite to their traditional Boxing Day Pheasant Shoot.

As well as party planning, being a socialite, and having her rear end the subject of much discussion, Pippa is also apparently a rather good shot and is excited to be part of the day-after-Christmas festivities.

The 28-year-old younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge will join the Queen and the rest of the senior royals in an unusual move – as the occasion is normally just for the immediate clan.

This will be Kate Middleton’s first Christmas with her husband at Sandringham so Pippa's invite may have been to help her sis feel comfortable and at ease away from her parents for the holidays.

“Pippa’s very keen to go and she’s been on a couple of shooting weekends to make sure she won’t let the side down,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Pippa recently signed on to write a party planning book and received a near $600,000 advance for the manual.

Maybe there will be a chapter on how to look great while killing bird and a pheasant pie recipe!

Prince William and Kate Middleton have finally settled on their new home. $1.6 million is being spent renovating and updating what had been the home of Princess Margaret.  And the good news -- the massive house already has a nursery!

Rumors have been rampant for days that Kate is expecting. Whether she is or the pregnancy is just wishful thinking on the part of her adoring subjects, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's new home will easily accommodate a growing family.

The four story, 20 room home is part of famed Kensington Palace.  It has a huge living room, numerous bedrooms, staff quarters, a walled-in garden and the all-important nursery.

It was home to Queen Elizabeth's younger sister Princess Margaret and her husband Antony Armstrong-Jones and has sat empty since Margaret's death in 2002.

But if walls could talk, these would have amazing stories to tell. Everyone from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones to Peter Sellers was entertained there.

The place will be ready for the newlyweds in mid-2013, with the renovations being paid for out of a combination of private and public funds.

Following Prince William and Kate's high-profile trip to California last June, Prince Harry is coming to America this week.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's visit was dominated by strict social engagements, Harry's will be for work -- and no doubt plenty of play!

The youngest Prince is coming to the U.S. as part of an Apache attack helicopter training course conducted by Britain's Defense Ministry at the Naval Air Facility El Centro in California, about 90 miles east of San Diego.

Pippa Middleton looked lovely in love as she stole the show in a bright red dress while cozying up to her boyfriend, Alex Loudon, and RadarOnline.com has the photos.

Putting to rest rumors of a split, the stunning brunette, turned out to support her beau of almost a year, as he captained his school cricket team on Sunday.

Wearing the simple red dress and armed with a picnic hamper, Middleton, made the most of the English sunshine as topped off her outfit with a pair of sunglasses.

Kate Middleton may only be a Duchess but she is definitely the Queen of Recycling.

Bucking the celebrity trend of wearing an outfit only once, Kate yet again recycled an item of her wardrobe. On Saturday she wore a cream colored coatdress as she stepped out for the wedding of Zara Phillips and rugby player Mike Tindall.

Prince William's bride, 29, had worn the dress once before, in 2006 when she attended the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles.

The Duchess updated the ensemble by wearing nude pumps and a large cream corsage hat to the Edinburgh nuptials.

Just the previous night, Kate was seen wearing a bright green Diane Von Furstenberg dress which she had also worn during her trip to California earlier this month.

Kate Middleton and her family are the latest high profile names to be dragged into the British phone hacking scandal.

Kate and her new husband Prince William, officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have been contacted by the police investigating the ever-expanding News of the World phone hacking scandal, The Telegraph is reporting Sunday.

During the original investigation into the paper’s activity in 2005, Prince William, Prince Harry and three of their close aides were known to have been targeted. The investigation began and ended with them.

In light of the newer allegations which resulted in the closing of the 168 year-old London tabloid, investigators are concerned that the entire Middleton family may also have been hacked.

Guy Pelly, one of William and Henry's closest friends, filed a law suit against the News Of The World earlier this month alleging he was also hacked.

The scandal has resulted in several News of the World executives being arrested, and Rupert Murdoch, whose worldwide media empire owned the paper, being hauled before Parliament.

Hacking around the royals was much "more widespread than was known at the time [2005] and it involved a lot more people and a lot more hacking at all levels," a source close to the investigation told The Telegraph.

"They reached out and targeted as many people as they could in that world. If they've targeted Prince William and Prince Harry, you can assume that they targeted their friends and immediate family."  Like the Middletons.

After hobnobbing with the rich and famous at black tie galas, VIP receptions and a polo match, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turned their attention to the impoverished of Los Angeles.

On Sunday William and Kate went to Inner-City Arts on L.A.'s notorious Skid Row. The center is a non-profit that assists kids whose families have been effected by homelessness and poverty.

Arriving just after 11.30 am, the royal couple spent hours at the center, where children are taught to dance, sing and perform.  They met with the staff and shook hands with every one of the students.

They both made clay handprints, and Kate took a crack at drawing, although she laughingly told her new husband she wasn't sure if the result was "a tortoise or a snail."

The couple had previously been driven around the Skid Row area --  known as the homeless capital of the world --  accompanied by Inner-City Arts president and CEO Cynthia Harnisch.

Children from the center greeted the nelyweds with a banner that read "Welcome to Inner-City Arts."

Kate, as always, looked stunning in a navy and white crochet top and a white pleated skirt, both from British store Whistles.

Later today the Duke and Duchess are expected to meet with United States servicemen and women who have returned from active duty abroad and are transitioning back into civilian life.

The kings and queens of Hollywood came out to meet the future king and queen of England, and not since the last Oscar ceremony has there been so much glamor on the red carpet.

The event was the British Academy of Film & Television Arts' Brits to Watch gala. Prince William is the president of BAFTA, an organization that has a strong presence in Hollywood.

Kate was definitely the style standout of the gala, held in downtown L.A. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a lilac chiffon Alexander McQueen gown accessorized with earrings she'd borrowed from Queen Elizabeth.

Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were all there.  Jennifer Lopez was seen chatting with the  Prince before the dinner got underway. Barbra Streisand and husband James Brolin got some one-on-one time with the Prince as well.

Blake Lively, Maria Bello, Zooey Deschanel and Elizabeth Banks were among the fashion stand-outs. We also spotted Jack Black, Piers Morgan and Mary-Louise Parker.
