Mikey Welsh, who played with the group Weezer, has died in Chicago of a suspected drug overdose.
Welsh played with the iconic band from 1998 to 2001, and after suffering a nervous breakdown and talking openly about his addiction to drugs, found a new career as an artist.

Katherine Jackson will not attend Monday’s session of the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who’s charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of her son Michael.
Ms. Jackson left Los Angeles for Canada with Michael’s three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, during the weekend to attend Sunday's premiere of Cirque du Soleil's "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour" in Montreal.

Shortly before Grease star Jeff Conaway fell into a coma from an apparent drug overdose May 11, he left a voice mail on a friend’s phone during which he seems incapable to enunciate his phone number!
Conaway, 60, can be heard badly slurring his words then remains intelligible only as he tells his area code.

The 36-year old was discovered at 3:58 a.m. A neighbor told RadarOnline.com that Dan, who was known as Burning Dan due to his profession as a fire-spinning and flow arts teacher and performer, was “partying” the night he died. “We were woken up with the girl screaming,” the neighbor added.
"She came running out to the front garden of their apartment and some people went out to help her.”

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Belinda Caban -- who watched television with a friend for four hours while Andrew Koppel, 40, lay dead in her New York City apartment -- said if she had known he had taken such a deadly cocktail of drugs, she would have called for help.
